Don't know a lot about it, but she's said in the past that for Fallen the companies insisted on some changes. She didn't want the rapper in Bring Me To Life, for example.

Early Evanescence is really different from what it became. These old songs are really spooky and have somekind of spiritual vibe. Espicially this part 1:49 I think i like EP and Origin versions way more than released Fallen album.It's such a shame some songs like Understanding were completely scrapped and Amy Lee acts like they never existed at all.

When I got my Origin CD when I was 13 my dad listened to it and asked me, why it sounds so shitty. Years later I've known that it was a demo. He was right, its production sucks, but god, how superior this Imaginary compared to overproduced fallen version. And in general I'd say that Origin has more fresh founds than Fallen.
