Thank you for the 4 7 8 breathing tips! As an asthmatic, I know the importance of breathing exercises and used to do them all the time..I stopped after 20 years and spent the next 20 breathing ok...I found you recently and am doing this at least three times a day with about 10 reps..I also do it when I get frustrated ...it works!

I discovered that I have a food sensitivity to glutamate and high histamine foods which when eaten, especially anytime after 3pm, makes me anxious and unable to sleep that night. Eliminating these types of foods eliminated the issue and no amount of breathing would have ever helped.

For me, managing sugar intake was key to better sleep. High sugar meals late in the day left me restless no matter how much I focused on my breathing. It’s amazing how much diet impacts our ability to rest!

@@MetaverseAdventures My cutoff is usually around mid-afternoon, typically 3 PM, to give my-self enough time to settle. Have you noticed any specific foods besides sugar that affect your sleep?

Hi Dr., I have a catastrophe issue regarding sleeping, I can't sleep, and I don't have the sleeping feeling, I tried vitamin D3 with K2 and Zinc and B1 and B6 and Magnesium Glycinate, Probiotics, Gaba, Trytophan, breathing technique 4 7 8 , blue light filter, switching off electrical equipment and Nothing helped. I don't drink coffee or alcohol. That will gonna makes me crazy and totally depressed with alot of anxiety I hope you can help everyone like me who has this issue

You just taught ppl over breathing that leads to hypoxia. You didnt even mention it. You make it sound like you need to breath deep all the time and that is very bad for you.
