Good list Brian... one of the biggest problems with the strongman style of training is that is a VERY expensive list of gear. I would add cambered bar for me - my shoulders are worthless and the cambered bar is even better than the SSB for me.

Where can I find some farmer's like the ones you have now? I'm looking for an "upright/vertically loaded" style that's a bit raised (for toe safety) on feet more likely to slide on grass than catch, much like what you showed. AKA not the barbell type. What brand are your new ones?

Anyone who has watched your channel for any amount of time could have predicted the pieces of equipment you highlighted! And because I'm a numbers guy I looked up the cost of these items for those interested: All new from Titan ~$1900 (including bands from elsewhere cheap on Amazon and 150+80lb slam balls instead of sand bags) All new from Rogue ~$3500

HooDRidEWhiteY what about it? Alan did have a tremendously bad experience with Titan products, but I know of many many more people including myself who have had no problem with Titan. Axle works your grip even on bench press because, per your advise, you are squeezing that bar as hard as you can. Having twice the circumference to cover with your hand, you are putting more pressure throughout your hand and activating more of your forearm to squeeze the bar and thus using your grip more, even if the weight is mostly in your palm. Which is harder to squeeze and hold for time: a dumbbell or a dumbbell with fat grips? Having said that, if the user isn't squeezing as hard as they can, then you are correct, there is no difference between benching standard bar or axle for grip strength.
