Welcome back to the channel i hope you all are doing well! In todays video, we will be going over the 10 things i love about my fx35, the next video will be the 5 things i hate most about my fx35, if you are new to the channel, then welcome to the family, things you will see on our channel? The 2005 fx35 is an amazing car, i truely love just about everything on this car and i think that it is an amazing platform, for building and customizing it! I plan on doing a twin turbo setup on this car eventually! Ive never installed a turbo before but i am confident in my ability to do it myself once i get enough money saved up! i may even go with a cheapy ebay turbo kit! Im really a hands on type of mechanic i learn best by getting straight into it and getting my hands dirty, and figuring it out myself, part of my mission with youtube is to get more of you to be confident in yourself so that working on your own car, is something u are not afraid to do

Hell yeah man I'm glad u liked it! They're definitely an awesome car to have an they're alot of fun to own and super easy to work on but they're also really reliable so most of the time u don't want have to worry about working on them

I own an 04, only thing been done is i replaced front struts, 02 sensors, valve covers, and a few fuses

Yeah definitely a reliable car, and a awesome car to drive! I used to be like v8 this and that put a v8 In it and this car completely changed my mind set on v6 engines lol Thanks bro I appreciate it 🙏 💯

Just bought a 05 fx today and you got my like and sub out of the gate just for making relevant content. I’m def feeling better about dropping that 3k on impulse this morning. So far it beats the shit out of walking

Hell yeah! They're super reliable I love my Fx35 and they're not that complicated to work on and they're pretty fast for an Suv they have the same Engine as the 350z

Anyone Know Why My Back Drivers Side Wheel Is Cocked Outwards On My 2005’ FX35 AWD 3.5 Liter? All My Lights Are On, Abs, AWD, Slip, & Noticed That Rear Drivers Side Wheel Isnt Looking Right Compared To Other 3 Wheels?

Hey good job dude! My fx35 is automatically turning off while in motion. I recently replaced camshaft sensor1. Any advise?

Not sure but maybe the crankshaft sensor I had a similar issue which I had to replace both cam and crankshaft sensors then replaced the cam sensor again because it went out right away But other than that I'm not sure if the car is idling right while in park it's hard to say sorry

I have a 08' fx35 i got it in the beginning of 2019 i've had a couple problems nothing major. My main setbacks are the MPG i live in the heart of phoenix and i feel like i get less then 10MPG 😢 another is my tires! I've litterly had to replace 3 (diffrent tires) and constantly seems like I'm always having to put air in at least one.

Lol, yeah, they don't get the best mpg, especially awd is going to make it use even more And the rims on these cars, I think it's common for them to leak air. My stock wheels were the same way. The inside of the wheel was flaking pretty bad, not allowing the bead to set properly. I upgraded to an aftermarket wheel and didn't have any more issues

It's not terrible, but it does use a bit of gas being awd. However, it's worth it. The Awd handles amazingly in the snow, and the sound of the engine is nice as well, so overall, it's not too bad. I always recommend buying these cars as they're super reliable and when u drive it it's almost like driving a sports car but its an Suv lol

I wanted to receive some feedback on this SUV, I have the money to buy it but I also want it for going to work. I'm worried about the miles per galón, is it too excessive?? Or it is just normal ? Waiting on your response. It will be my first vehicle and I'm having a baby I need a family vehicle.

If its your 1st vehicle u really won't notice a difference lol I own 2 v8s now I have my Tahoe and the I have an 03 mustang gt both do pretty good on gas if im just cruising I also own a v6 Fx35 and out of all 3 my v6 uses more gas but to be fair it is more powerful than both of my v8s and it is awd u love v8 engines I feel that they can handle a little more abuse especially the ls engines in the Suburbans and tahoes But yeah it's not too bad if u put 91 non ethanol gas in it u will get pretty decent gas mileage as long as your not constantly flooring it

My 2007fx35 has a chemical smell when heaters run hot air what could it be

Try turning it onto Air circulation and see if u still smell it. After a few minutes, the Ac button will light up, but the heat should still work as long as the temperature is set high for heat. The Fx35 tends to leak oil towards the back of the valve covers, on both sides and it'll drip down onto the exsaust Manifolds and cause the smell of burning oil/ chemical smell to come through the fresh air vents If there's an exsaust leak, it can also come into the cabin through fresh air vents. Neither are good to breathe. We had to deal with that as well for a while. we would just always keep it on Circulate and maybe keep a window cracked Whenever I changed the valve cover gaskets, the smell went away but eventually developed a leak again, and it came back after 6 months. Hope that helps 🙏

This is a great video idea 😁 Probably the most expensive fix was the the new wheel setup which is kind of a repair kind of not because either way i would have put aftermarket wheels on it basically the stock 20 inch wheels wouldn't hold air anymore and they were flaking really bad 😬 Other than that tho I had to replace the front suspension which maybe cost 3 or 400 with the parts from carid.com and doing it myself Mostly the car has been really reliable, it had an issue with burning coil packs so that was kind of expensive still never figured out why it did that but it stopped but that issue lead to a misfire which flooded the cats and clogged the passenger side cat so I had to fix them as well But it didn't really cost nothing for the catalytic converter lol

Nice! I like the fx45 as well sometimes I wish mine was a v8 lol but I have a 2004 chevy tahoe with a 5.3 it's tuned and sounds amazing and runs great, but it's the only v8 that I have lol
