Best display, but neither VRR nor OLED? Eh… Other than that, banger video, once again!

As far as I’ve used in a handheld, yes! it’s the best display purely from an enjoyment standpoint. the size and resolution alone make the experience pretty stand out! VRR and OLED are definitely plus ups but VRR isn’t something I really think about or notice while gaming and i simply haven’t had or tried an OLED handheld yet! but you know i’m gonna order a new steam deck this week!

@@XXIVCONCEPT the resolution might be questionable in a handheld device. This is times 2 on each axis in comparison to Steam Deck. Which while technically impressive means this device needs to light up 4 times more pixels, also with LCD it has a bit higher power draw than OLED. So this for sure will have impact on time device can work on a single charge. The other thing is beyond certain pixel density (ppi) we will not see a difference. This reminds me a bit phone manufacturers which were putting higher and higher resolution screens to 6.5 phones with higher and higher refresh rates just to add more options to limit the resolution and refresh rate of the screen so the phone could last a singe day on one charge. So in specs the numbers look nice, but is it needed and is it practical? For me I would rather take portable device with smaller screen and/or lower resolution and refresh rate if this means more time on single battery charge.
