When you actually get one of those $100,000.00 watches in your hand, and no one will ever do so, then put out a video. The funny fact is that this video is about nothing because it is clearly written in the website that “the final product can be different from what is shown” and “no refund are accepted”. So it is the “trust me bro” philosophy applied to watch sales. But even taking images at face value the Oliver Mory, celebrated in this video, has released interview saying that his scope is to make tourbillon movement accessible to more people. Under this assumption, his movements cost from a minimum of 2600 usd to a maximum of 7100usd (and real watch experts estimate that the one used in Trump is on the lower side of his range). Add the cost of 200grams of 18kt gold and some really tiny diamonds (quality can vary given what told at the beginning) and you will have a real estimation of this watch value… and how much of a scam it is😂

To begin with, there is a common belief that even some high-end watches have their cases made in China. Is that true? I don’t know, but it’s possible. Then secondly, your “made in China” assumption is just that, an assumption. Third, if the watch is made of 200 grams of 18k gold, then the campaign would pocket less than $90,000. But to be honest, I don’t think whoever - if anyone - buys one of these will care where it is made. Have a nice weekend.

But my point was that the cost for what you’re getting is not unreasonable considering the manufacturing and material costs compared to retail. The common 3 or 4-1 ratio would put the Victory right in the ballpark. So, it might be a poor decision to buy one, but technically you are not getting ripped off.

I admit that this is probably a misguided move during the election season. I support Trump, and I collect fine mechanical watches, but those interests will remain separated. I doubt that I would want any US president - themed watch, maybe Washington if it were done well. But these confused folks show their TDS and their ignorance of fine watches when they call these watches a scam. They are unaware that the rules for marketing watches as Swiss-made are well defined, but lenient, and that a great many "Swiss-made" watches that they would greatly respect cut close to those same rules.
