I still can't believe Aurelia reached the 100th video... So much time passed, and Aurelia changed so much and yet is still here... I am so glad to have followed this growth so far as well for Altengrad. Whatever the future will reserve us and those cities, you did a fantastic work so far and I hope you will continue this way!

I think having a little beach area on that upper lake would be really cool, maybe in that area to the “right” (from camera view at 24:10) of today’s episode. Congratulations on 100 episodes!! I remember the time you’d said you didn’t think you were going to continue with KZbin, and just how sad that was, and to think you’ve come all this way since then is really incredible! You’re the most talented Cities KZbinr out there, and I could easily watch another 100 episodes of any series you decide to make!

Gratz Akruas, my heart skips a beat everytime I think that Aurelia is almost done, but I'm sure your next project will be incredible aswell. I'm wondering If Aurelia will have some sort of Goverment buildings. I've always picture Aurelia like some sort of Capital city. Thanks for the awesome city you bought us. :)

I can't get over how genius that was to use the Beijing airport asset for the island city. Putting some grass land around it to make a floating park area with a few restaurants and bringing more lights to the area would really make the island pop. Maybe a few floating luxury condos or environmentally friendly buildings on separate surrounding islands would adorn the place more.
@Buizerd883 жыл бұрын

I found your channel a few months ago and I've been binging this series ever since. I just finished this most recent episode and I can't believe the timing as you're almost done with the city. It was interesting to watch 3.5 years of building as all the modern mods slowly came out, like node controller and the intersection marking tool
@Bubbarain7173 жыл бұрын
If anyone is wondering where all the land is going to, it takes a lot of materials to build all the infrastructure and to fill in the gaps. The lands top soil is saved to be used on green roofs and several trees was relocated for the bigger companies, and much of the materials were sold to other cities creating a large revenue… All this digging ended up creating a massive man made lake, this of-course was taken into consideration to be a great tourist opportunity for the city in which the city has been growing so fast that the new water front has been put on hold. Now that the city is almost an island it now must start looking to the lake for expansion opportunities…

Akruas, I have question: At about 3m 53sec, it looks like you have a PO of the "wall network"? Is that the case, or is this a prop? I use the wall network alot myself, and have always felt I've been missing a Prop (to use with PO) of that network. Lastly as always, your videos, commentary and what you actually make happen in Cities Skylines is nothing short of exceptional. A true Master of the arts here, for sure! Its greatly appreciated.
@Akruas3 жыл бұрын
Thank you. Lost Gecko made both network and prop versions steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=921029752 . Also for the future, it's better to type timestamp as 3:53 because it's a direct link to the video.

Hi Kristian, just in case you don't know how, you do a time stamp by typing @ and the time. So, @ 3 : 5 3, without spaces, becomes @3:53 - I tell you cause it took me ages to figure it out. cheers! (and I see YT has upped their game, and you don't even need the @ any more. See, I learned something!)

How do you keep the buildings connected to roads? Every time I move a building (to make a complex of 4-5 of the same buildings), it is 'connected' (I assume), but it always complains about garbage, or crime etc... So I just put a road inside the complex, but then there's an intersection, so it's ugly.

The building spawn points mod should help.
@gabpas12133 жыл бұрын
How do you make the green cities dlc towers a perfect cylinder? Since rotating it doesn't work. Do you use the mirror objects in move it? Edit: What mod do you use to change the spawn point of buildings? And is procedural objects heavy for the computer?
@Akruas3 жыл бұрын
The mod is Building Spawn Points. PO is only heavy if you have lots of those converted objects on the map, the mod doesn't affect performance almost at all when its just sitting there. Not sure which cylinder you mean.
@gabpas12133 жыл бұрын
@@Akruas Thanks! Oops, I meant ellipses. You know those green cities High dens towers that are a quarter ellipsoid, with grass on the roof. I assume you used procedural objects to mirror it along an axis?
