About this visit:
They arrived Duluth June 16, 2024. Their 5th such arrival this season.at a pace of 4.9 kts, 3 miles out they slowed down from cruising up the lake at 12.8 kts. Their 1st stop of the visit was Cenovus fuel to fill her up! Arriving at pit stop at 11:17, began fueling. All topped off at 16:54, they departed Cenovus, hung a U turn in the Harbor and headed out the Duluth entry at 17:37, heading S.E on across the lake to the BN dock to load ore. They Arrived at BN at 18:31 and began loading ore. June 17 at 16:29 they finished their loading and departed Superior, heading to Nanticoke Ontario.
They have been visiting that dock quite a bit this season, any guesses how many times they've been there?
Give me your guess, I'll let you know if its correct!
The Water Rescue training was being done by the Duluth Fire Department. They just got their hands on a new "rescue dummy" and decided to do some training after the Gott came through. The dummy I heard comes in at 185 Lbs.
