Since nothing is edible anymore I stopped eating the day this video was released. I now weigh a mere 18 lbs. It's cool because I can travel the world for free just by stepping outside and letting the wind carry me away. Even better is when I turn sideways no one can see me! 2024 Update: After getting caught in the updraft of an F5 tornado I'm now in the midst of inner planetary travel. I seem to be headed toward Venus. Maybe one of the other planets or their moons will have something I can eat without worry. I'll keep you posted. It's a bit chilly up here.

I remember as a child I've never had problems with dairy, gluten or anything really, no allergies whatsoever. Then, a few years ago, I began to have digestive issues, now literally everything makes me feel bloated, I developed GERD, IBS, an enlarged liver (even though I am skinny and never drink) etc. Additionally, I also got hand eczema, which refuses to heal no matter what I do. Eczema is slowly starting to appear on my face as well. I've been thinking a lot about these things, and why I did not have any problems with food or my digestion as a kid. I came to the conclusion that all these big companies must inject food items with god knows what and that is what we have an allergic reaction to. That is what our stomach cannot handle. I understand that there are people with real allergies, who would die if they ate foods containing peanuts for example, but food intolerances...I swear it is because our bodies cannot tolerate all these perservatives, colorings and whatever else they put in food that is not even indicated on the label.

Still have the rash and I’m thinking it’s the cheese/dairy. I hope not cause I love cheese, cream cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream.

What I have gathered as a common denominator from all these videos is as below: 1. Avoid as much as possible white sugar 2. Eat fresh fruit and vegetables - cooked or uncooked, whichever is possible for you. 3. Use ghee, butter in moderation, butdo use them. 4. Moderate amount of soaked nuts and seeds are good. 5. Do not get into knowing chemical names like maltodextrin etc... Just avoid processed foods as much as possible including cookies, biscuits. Make them at home if you want it. 6. Go to a doctor if any severe acute issue or you have tried some home remedies for at least a day or two. 7. Hydrate youself with at least 6 to 8 glasses of water daily

@@nef.spring I would go for it, but I have Diabetes 2, and I have a genetic mutation in the part of my blood that keeps your blood thin enough to not clot. Because of this, I can only eat a small amount of greens because they have Vitamin K in them and that works against the medication I am taking to keep my blood in line. Also, I am an ultrasensitive person and because of this, there are lots of foods that will make me feel crappy or keep me up at night. And if you aren't 76, wait until you get there and you might find a desire to eat as well as you can.

I respect Dr Berg. I've been a follower of his channel for years. I always look forward to seeing his videos. In this situation however, I have a bit of an issue. There is absolutely no need to peddle fear, uncertainty, and doubt. These are things that if consumed in excess, can damage your liver over time. To say or put ruin in all caps on your thumbnail can aggravate and annoy anyone. If it is something we need to be aware of, or be cognizant of so that we can make better decisions and choices, then please communicate that. Seeing the words "ruin your liver" is too much hyperbole for me. It's not necessary.

My body started rejecting foods big time 10 years ago. The result was years of constant hospitalisation after consuming foods I had eaten all my life. Healthy 'normal' foods. There is a point to this story, which is: After years of sickness, I have narrowed down the foods my body can tolerate. Those foods turned out to be foods my ancestors ate. To my dismay my diet now consists mostly of root vegetables, seafood, chicken and very limited red meat and some leafy greens (no dairy,no soy, no wheat, no gluten, no corn, limited starches, no sodas or cordials, no alcohol, no coffee and no manufactured sugars no animal fats, no seeds, limited nuts only macadamia and peacan. The plethora of 'healthy' (and unhealthy) foods from across the globe available to me, ultimately made me sick. Upon reflection, it makes sense that like many things we inherit, our gut-health is one of them. We should take it seriously and not ignore children's dislikes of foods. Had my parents been aware of intolerances not just allergies, I would have been able to feel this healthy all my life. These days everyone is aware of food intolerances, so if it feels bad don't eat it again. A big one is alcohol. My body simply can't tolerate it. So, I don't care how socially unacceptable it is not to drink (and boy does the pressure get applied) if it gives you skin redness, or the sniffles, or red watering eyes, or makes your stomach ache, please give it away, your body is begging you quietly. If you ignore all the subtle signs the toxins will build up and you'll find yourself in hospital, with a mild intolerance that has turned into a toxic overload on your liver, kidneys, pancreas, lymph system and brain. I wish someone had told me this years ago. I hope this helps someone out there. Or their kids or anyone. Listen to the subtle signs and avoid my mistakes.

Doctors SHOULD learn from you! I had fatty liver - which is under control and, hopefully, getting back to normal! (my AST and ALT readings are back to normal - I hope that's a good indicator 🤔). I have no liver disease symptoms. I saw a nutritionist last year in November for pre diabetic blood sugar levels. I've lost 9 kgs, morning bloods are about 5.4 from 6.5, and lost 11.5 cms around my waist!! Thank you so much for your amazing videos! regards and best wishes to you! I've lost 8

Regarding fructose in fruits, I think we all need to stay humble and admit that there are some things that we still don't know as humans and that's perfectly okay. Fruits, humans have eaten them for millennia and still thrive on it. Everything that is edible in nature is good for us, ditch the vegetable oils though.

My ALT was 600 and AST around 100. I was terrified. The ultrasound showed a completely healthy liver, and after a long conversation with the gastroenterologist about my diet, he determined that a protein shake (pea and rice vegan protein) could be the cause. After stopping the consumption of the protein shake, the values returned to normal. I still can't believe that such a seemingly innocuous food supplement that is touted as a healthy source of protein could do such harm. Later, I found out that many people who regularly go to the gym and take protein shakes every day before each blood test take a ten-day break precisely because of liver enzymes. Since then, I look for sources of protein exclusively in food.

Contains a lot of Omega 9 and few of Omega 6. 3. Reduce bad cholesterol. 4. Reduce risks of cardiovascular diseases. I also recommend to always add a bit of olive oil when you wanna use butter as the main oil because it will prevent the butter to burn in your pan.

I appreciate the information but I’m exhausted just trying to find some meat I can still eat, some liquid other than water I can drink, some fruits and vegetables that are still healthy. I’m not poo pooing what he says, it’s probably dead on accurate, just sad where the food industry has gone. Wish I had unlimited energy, I’d build a fence around my old garden plot and raise my own food. Sadly, I got tired of fighting pests (bugs), groundhogs, and deer, then add, too much/ too little rain, sun, etc. I raised plants and sold vegetables when I was a kid, we did can and freeze some, buts it’s really hard work that I can’t do anymore, oh well

...I would argue that most foods outside any restaurant have MSG, not just Chinese foods. I've asked many restaurants when I got out if anything has MSG and the majority of the time they say yes a little...

I followed a 40-30-30 (i.e. The Zone Diet) plan starting from my 20s where the sweetener recommended for all of the smoothies, desserts, salad dresssings, sauces, etc. was granulated fructose. Also all of the smoothies contained whey protein and fruit and 30% healthy fats from nuts, Avocados, etc. But very little animal fat.. I had always been overweight and when I started the plan, I would always lose 20 pounds or so and come to a standstill even though I always exercised. The constant yoyoing made me sicker over the years. Ended up losing my thyroid and going from overweight to obese as I got older. Had no idea I was hurting my body. Now that I am on a Keto diet, I've lost about 20 pounds but still struggle because my body is now so super sensitive to stress. No matter how much I try to watch my electrolytes, if something is ever so slightly off, I get heart palpitations from low mag or potassium or bloating from too much salt. If I try to take Dr. Berg's liver formula along with the gall bladder formula, my heart races out of my chest and I have air hunger (feeling like I can't get enough air), anxiety, uncontrollable foot tapping and nervous energy (with no caffeine involved). My heart and pulse would also race. And twice I found out that my body can't handle the rapid weight loss and stress of a prolonged 3 day fast. I feel good tge first two days but when I come off it with the recommended small amounts of nutrionally dense foods, my body acts like I've cruelly mistreated it and responds with palpitations, diarrhea, and just feeling plain bad. I loved how the fast made me feel but my body can't handle it and I'm only 53 and I've exercised and tried to take care of myself (with the knowledge I had at the time) since I was a twenty-something. My heart really goes out to people who have accidentally hurt their bodies because they did not have good information. I do find that if I don't drink too little or too much water and I take 300 to 600 mg of benfotiamine, I feel relaxed and no palpitations. My body seems to like benfotiamine.

Great video doc, thank you. I do get quite sceptical about ingrediencies written on a product. It's hard to believe everything on there is always true.

Dr Berg offers great advice and has helped heaps with general health, a good tip is to not eat any food which has numbers listed as ingredients and your Doctors visits will become very rare.
