Michael Vick has shown, more than any other player I can think of, to be genuinely regretful for what he did and try and change. He cut out all of the people in his past that shared in that kind of behavior and lifestyle, and it made him a better person. I think it's the one thing a lot of people, not just pro athletes, fail to do. They keep on hanging out with their "friends" who are terrible influences after they are caught, and it hinders any sort of change they could hope to make.
