It made me think about how many men (toys) say "ooh I'd love to have one of those, how much I could/would be able to do" This man shows that it's not just about having the equipment but knowing how to use it! (No double entender intended!) He would have to have advanced math & analytical deduction skills, as well as handling all of the machines many levers, knobs & sticks to move smoothly, unlike the average "bull in a china shop" !!! (Wow that was enlightening!😮)

I’m so glad you showed the details of the staircase removal. It’s laborious and takes ingenuity to do a project like this. TV glosses over all the steps (and patience) that is needed. "Bocage" from the Normandie 'boscage' - a field or meadow surrounded by a earthen bank covered with trees and shrubs, sometimes bordered by a sunken road on one or more sides. The bocage of Brittany have a particularly fascinating history during WW2, if you care to look into it. Lovely to see the beautiful Shadow hail and healthy. Best wishes.

Make that area a veggie garden (or a flower cutting) and that funny little building storage for the garden tools. And a small bistro set on a small, slate patio in among the plants. A nice, relaxiing spot to think, be in nature and listen to the birds...🐧🥀🌿

Every week I am astounded by the progress you have made. Incredible! The very best thing however, is you brought in Some help! Bravo! I am so sorry you also had a sick kitty. It looked like Pickle? I was in Brittany several times during the month of June and almost froze to death. I had to put the wall heater on in the Gite every night before I even took off my coat. Burrrrrrrr….the cold winds blowing off the channel are freezing! Things are coming along nicely and it will be charming ! PS. You are blessed with kind neighbors. I too have kind generous neighbors.
