Hello Valentina! I recently found your channel and I enjoy your videos, but mostly I enjoy your enthusiasm for interior design and great finds! I am looking for new covers for the toss cushions on my couch, and I'm going to browse the IKEA website with the hopes of finding just what I need. I look forward to viewing your past and future videos.

I am glad that our Swedish brand makes you happy with all its goodies in.... Scandinavian language is not a one unit thing... we have different languages but mostly understand each other.... except for Norwegian far up to the north and most of the Danish. A lot of the things you have in US, we do not have here... as for the doormat right now. No Hygge in our stores... If you saw the founder of IKEA, Ingvar Kamprad was his name and the last 2 letters is from his small little village where he started it all...a cute little town in the southern part of Sweden (which had a huge amount of emigrants during 1800-1920... approx 1,5 million people moved out..mostly to the US)... and all of the names are often from Swedish villages and just stuff... The pillow is FJÄDRAR, meaning feathers in english... Thank you for a lovely video and stay safe

Hi this might be a silly question but I need help! Do you have to match your interior design to the architecture type of the home? For instance can a Georgian home still have a modern interior design such as mid century modern, or no? Or does a Georgian house have to stick with more traditional decor? Think of a home similar to the classic home alone film Georgian home. . originally I was going to build a home that has floor to ceiling windows vaulted where the entire wall is windows. A more of a mountain rustic house plan and I knew I could Bring a modern flare to it. But due to Covid the price of wood has scyrocketed so to build a home with open wood beams etc will have to be postponed. I love this style home due to all the windows and natural light. On the polar opposite I also love a classic Georgian home like the home alone style. How can I make such a home more modern with the interior design despite it being a traditional architecturally speaking. Also how can I bring in more light into such a home? Build custom windows that go lower then your average Georgian home? I’ve also struggled finding Georgian house plans That include vaulted ceilings that don’t have a second floor over it. I’d love any advice! Please and thank you!

The Ikea feather products are ethically sourced, they do not use live pluck, so if that's important to you but you want the feather look, Ikea is a great place to get them. RH on the other hand does use live pluck. 😬

29.99 is cheap for a blanket. Consumer prices are too cheap in the states and causes much of the poverty in the world. Unlivable wages are paid to the workers and hellish working conditions too. Sadly, consumers are mindless about this reality. Would paying just a couple of dollars more really affect us negatively? It would make a life changing difference to the worker making the item if they were paid that difference.
@lienecarter64113 жыл бұрын
I agree that is really cheap. I think it shows disrespect for others work. I’m often called a snob because i refuse to shop at walmart. I would rather pay more. I buy most of my blankets from the Citizenry. They cost a bit but they are fair trade made by regional artisans. I have purchased a few bedding items from ikea and they were really cheap and not luxurious at all. That is a waist of money. I have purchased several pieces from thrift stores that worked out wonderfully. I really like the Hotel collection from Macys too. I got a full linen set there on a great sale and it is very luxurious. I could not afford all the pieces i wanted so i waited another season and found the duvet on eBay. It all coordinated with the linen quit i bought 5 years earlier from pottery barn. I do like the look of the blanket she has in the video and i will check it out next time i am in ikea but i doubt it will be worth buying.
