Great exercises! The ball is somewhat challenging for a non sporty person, better doing it with a friend perhaps. But, skiing is somewhat risky and so is the ball exercise. So, a perfect match 😂

This will be season 70 for me on skis ! I strength and balance train from Spring to late Autumn. At the start of each ski season, and on a gentle slope, I link Javelin Turns and Royale Christies on one ski to check my balance. Last year there were no falls or slip ups from one turn to the next . . . Let's see what this year brings. . . . Happy Trails !!

Can you use a Bosa half ball instead of a balance board?

That is my question. I usually end my exersizes with the Bosa. 30+ squats, 1 minute on left leg, then 1 minute on right leg.

Good video idea Margaret ! These exercises are great, but they could be really dangerous . As a doctor who specialises in trauma care i would not advise this for people over 50 year old , even the younger ones should be doing these with caution and supervision . There's a great risk of injury especially with the ball, the video title should be changed or the video should be removed! Anyways have fun skiing and be safe!
