Well, it depends on your driving style, but usually, the 3.7L takes between 15/19 miles per gallon (12-15 liters per km)

@@MateiAvram sorry but...a hummer H3 use 1 liter on 9 kilometer on the highway , we here in the Netherlands have a max speed on the highway from 100km/h and when you drive a Hummer H3 3.7 at a max speed of 100km/h then it use about 1 liter on 9 km ,,,ofcourse in the city it uses more

Yes, it does! I opened only a bit otherwise it would be too loud for the camera, buy yes, it opens all the way.

No, it’s definitely not on purpose. That’s how the engine normally sounds. But I guess that industrial sound fits the image of the Hummer.

Not an issue just an observation I made lol. Compared to every over turn signal I’ve seen, this one has a weirdly slow ticking 🤷‍♂️

Weird comments aside, how reliable would u say the h3 is? If I were to buy one with a higher mileage, around 140-150,000 miles, would that be a wise investment? Or would the car begin to own me?

@@charlierobinson7119 That's actually a great question! Hummers are built for rough weather and conditions. However, you need to be very careful when you look to buy a used one (especially at higher mileage). The ones made in 2006 are known to be more problematic, so I would not look for an early model. As long as you find one in excellent condition, you will be more likely to get a good car. At 140-150,000 miles, the previous owner should have sorted any issues with the car, but be aware that it's a used car so you never know. :/ If you find one in great shape and you know the detailed history of the car (the issues the car had and what was replaced, oil changes and so on..) you should be fine. If you get one, take care of it and try to keep in a good condition. Hummers can easily go up to 300,000 miles, so it's a matter of doing a good job of finding the right car and taking care of it.
