The reason the window rolls up a bit is to prevent it from rattling (and subsequent damage) when the door is shut closed. Cars with big windows have that problem, particularly coupes without a window frame. Most people I know that have such cars eventually end up not rolling down the window completely, or manually doing what this car does in order not to damage the glass or create play in the window lift mechanisms. The printing on the buttons in the center console started rubbing off and were no longer identifiable, the plastic glove box hinges broke, as well as the plastic cover on the back of the seat popped off when the seat was being adjusted. So I won't begrudge you defending Audi so adamantly but judging someone and stating with so much conviction as "literally never" seems ridiculous.

At around 6:40 the window behaves this way to reduce the rattle/stress on the glass. By rolling up, the glass is essentially pinned between the rubber seals preventing damage when slamming closed. It's not just on this vehicle but also on other newer Audi's as well.

@@frederikandersen6244 The windows will roll down slightly when opening/closing only on frame-less glass doors. Rolling down slightly allows the window to clear the upper trim/seal. If it didn't do this, eventually, you'd cause damage to the door trim. This is a big problem with Tesla's and people accidentally using the manual override door handle. Eventually, the car will warn you against it due to damage.

Влад Вулкан he actually did review a Spyker C8 already :) I’m sure he’s really happy about the RS6 Avant coming to North America though! I can’t remember if he mentioned on his second channel that he was aware of this but I know he loves fast wagons from German brands (especially the RS6 Avant), and I know that he has criticized Audi for limiting many of the RS models to other markets besides North America.

I daily a 2017 R8 V10 Plus (20,000 miles in it). Fair and honest review but the car can hold a full carry on suitcase in the front AND behind the seats. Holds more than you think! Edit I've also VBOX the car 0 to 60 2.57 seconds. 😎
