Honestly it's an amazing car I picked that over a Lambo it's actually faster top end and it's a little bit more understated so you're not getting harassed when you're out cruising and the build quality is fantastic and the interior is just amazing and you can actually put stuff in the trunk which I think is way more practical than a Lamborghini Huracan

I bought an E60 535xi manual transmission , and i upgraded turbos and other stuff, changed all gaskets and seals and tuned it for 500 wheels horsepower , the car cost me 6000 Canadian dollars , all the engine work including stage 2 turbos cost was an additional 5000 dollars , i already beat many modern stock AMGs , cars that cost 10 to 15 times the price of my car , this GT-R is obviously beautiful but going fast with style can be done for a lot cheaper than 200 grand ,

Yes the Viper had the quickest run at Nurburgring in 2016, but it also has about every record and is the all-time champ with 13 to be fair. The 2017 ACR totally rewrote the book, and has more then any other car in automotive racing history period. So yes, they are king of the blacktop and is going to be a long time before anyone will be able to overcome it..(if ever). The AMG GTs are sweet, and love the sound of that hand-built motor with titanium pipes ❤️.

No guys. I have owned 2. I own the 2020 GTR. The ESP off and 9 stage traction control have confused you. ESP is a stability control. Traction control controls WHEEL SPIN. On track it can be adjusted to help minimize wheel spin out of corners.

In my opinion, the Porsche GT3 RS might be slightly better. I love this car but that GT3 RS is a legend and there’s a reason why it’s value is holding up so well. More balanced, more focused and that 9000 rpm.

I was going to trade my SL63 for one this spring... instead I sold my SL and invested the money in low priced stocks... your 3.6 seconds is because its rear wheel drive, if it was AWD it would be quicker, traction is an issue... I have done 3.6 with my SL63.. And the GTR is 400 lbs lighter. I think under ideal traction you could get 3.2..

Highly recommend the ceramic brakes with any AMG car - Ever see a one year old 63 at the dealership with 20-30,000km? It was traded when the steels wore out in 12 months and a brake job was $10k. Better to go ceramic from start.

I've driven a GTC and it certainly isn't slow. It's a touch heavy - 100 kg or so. But a GT3RS is a better track car. It's NOT over hyped at all.

I drove a AMG GT S version last week and am hooked. Now looking for a used example and will buy one over the C8 that I am STILL waiting for. The GTS S is more engaging and more special than the C8. Just saying.
