Another reviewer who didn't read the Owner's Manual. None of them do. Then they all complain about the track pad. This is a highly complex car. You need to read and learn all about it if you want to enjoy it. Instead of complaining, if you had done your homework instead of assuming you were bright enough to know it all, you would have then been qualified to give an educated opinion. There is a SETUP in the MENU where you can decide on your preferences. There are a lot...A LOT ....of choices. Having done that basic task, you would then need to learn the VOICE COMMAND feature. Your preferences will take care of 90% of whatever you want to do instead of using the trackpad. The VOICE COMMAND can then accomplish most every other task except for a very few. This car is so well thought out and engineered it will amaze everyone....if they learn about it. When you go from a Cessna 172 to a Lear 45 you don't simply jump in and take off. There's a lot to learn. When you buy a complex machine, learn how to use it. I've even heard some "reviewers" say they couldn't change the radio station without pulling the car over and stopping. As for the trackpad itself, the sensitivity and responsiveness is adjustable to your own preference. It takes about ten minutes to get used to it once you've set it up properly for yourself. These are....IMHO....the finest cars in their class on the market today. You get a $400k car for $100k....except this one is reliable.....and the ones costing $400k are not.

Because this is my dream car, I saw many reviews and tests here on youtube. This test is by far the most detailed, the most factual, the best filmed, the best thought through review I saw. With one exception - this car is 50% of comfort and look, and 50% of emotions from riding, literally playing on the street. Unfortunatelly, I miss that play with engine and slides that others show. If only you could publish updated version of this test adding at least 20% of duration time reving the engine and making slides, it would be flawless ;) Anyway, overall, big thank you for such a detailed, well thought through video of highest quality. Subscribing was no question as it will be delight to continue in watching such a clear mind making car tests. I just hope you will pick the right ones ;) Thanks again!

If I could afford to have this car I would have it totally painted in the same shade of that dark grey trim. Not only because gray is my favorite color but also because I find weird the fact that those parts are a different color than the car body despite absolutely admiring this car shaped master piece❣️

Hi! Great video! Which colour is the best for the LC coupe: white or red? And between this vehicle and the F type: which one is more beautiful and which one do you prefer? Thank you
@MilesPerHr3 жыл бұрын
I’m glad you enjoyed the review! I definitely prefer this red over white for this car. The soundtrack and ride quality in the LC is also superior to the F-Type, so I’d choose this. 👍

Great review. And am glad that I can put my golf bag in the trunk. Well, this is Lexus! I think this is not possible with the Mercedes SL and other similar German cars 😊😅😂

The Jaguar will be in the dealer for repairs all year round because of its horrendous British reliability nightmare......the Porsche 911 will be in the garage most of the time because it's a show car.....not a daily commute car due to its sky high maintenance costs..... the Lexus is a Lexus and does Lexus things all day long with little needs for repairs or maintenance other than every wear and tear and oil change.....

Excellent and the best review I've seen yet. BUT.....The only car that truly matches up size and configuration wise better is a car you mysteriously omitted: Mercedes SL550- It's quicker, smoother, lighter, more luxurious, handles better and has a glass retractable roof [which is infinitely superior to cloth] for just $2,000 more MSRP. Indeed the SL defined the category Luxury Roadster since the '50's. The 911 and F-Type are sports cars closer to the track. SL550 and LC500 are GT's convertibles closer to the autobahn.
@MilesPerHr4 жыл бұрын
Indeed the SL is a great option, sorry to have left that out
@LawrenceMarkFearon4 жыл бұрын
@@MilesPerHr Matching beige top obviously is the better choice, not black. As for top execution I can tell you this is one of the best cloth roof designs. Notice how narrow the C-pillar fabric is. Totally devoid of the classic wide ragtop blindspot. Few convertibles can pull that off and it's deceptively ingenious.
@MrAllthatgoodstuff4 жыл бұрын
The SL550 suffers from the same issue as the BMW 8 series. It's a boring car that looks slightly different and better than the rest of the their mainstream offering. There's also no reason to pick the SL550 over a 850M or M8 right now. The BMW simply does everything the SL does except better. Both the BMW and Benz doesn't have better fit and finish nor uniqueness. At this price range, exclusivity is closer to the top of the list or at the top. And finally, the LC500 just sounds better. Oh yeah, there's the reliability part but everyone already knows that.
@LawrenceMarkFearon4 жыл бұрын
@@MrAllthatgoodstuff Except for the glass roof convertible part- which is epic. I actually prefer the Twin Turbo AMG V12 roadster experience- something nothing else this side of an Aston Martin or Ferrari can deliver. These generic convertibles simply lack the premium pedigree of AMG.
@MrAllthatgoodstuff4 жыл бұрын
@@LawrenceMarkFearon The SL65 AMG with it's twin turbo V12 can't even beat the BMW 850M in speed, handling, ergonomics, tech, etc... That was just a boring car with lots of power so it became a wild boring car with lots of understeer. What pedigree are you talking about. People chasing "pedigree" are going straight for Ferrari or rare Porsche. Even McClaren would be a better choice. You're just biased towards Benz. You could've picked something better from them and a lot of people might agree with you. But the SL is just one of their least interesting product and hence why sales sucks and eventually discontinued.

Is it worth the convertible by looking factor and in general over the coupe, and in your perspective what’s the best spec, I will order one blindly because it’s out of stock, and don’t worry I know this car will I’m obsessed with it. I just want to see you’re opinion
@MilesPerHr2 жыл бұрын
I find the coupe to be the better looking of the two, but getting to drop the top and hear that glorious V8 is a treat. Personally, I'd save my pennies and pickup the coupe, but you can't go wrong with either.

I like this car test drove it, but I cannot stand that tan, camel interior. Reminds me of 1970’s luxury cars, and the worst thing about it it’s the color they have for almost all there exterior paint colors. You cannot get the red interior with the red car, you can get the gray interior. In Japan you can mix and match what colors you want like with Porsche.

pollo no you’re correct. New hardtop convertibles are superior and make better luxury cars. Even better is the visibility and not having to replace the worn out cloth top every 2 years.
