Try not using the handbrake to initiate the drift, I would lift off then give a blip on the throttle instead, more controlled and unsettles the car less. I like how you finish the slides, looks very smooth and doesn't bump the rear.

Not bad! Best tip I ever learned - handbrake mid turn when you're get too much angle. And clutch kick when you start to grip and bog down.

Do you prefer initiating the drift with a clutch kick or handbrake? I'd imagine a handbrake initiation is kinder on the clutch than kicking it?

Clutch kick. It's not as hard on the clutch as you think. In reality, its more of a clutch push rather than a kick. You just need to barely disengage it to get the slide. If one push isn't enough, you can do a double push, which is much easier on the clutch than a literal kick where you fully depress it.

They did remove the pedal dance! Not noticing any intervention while sliding by holding the traction/stability control off button though, so that's good.

he mentions in other videos that it's not great and if you're regularly / seriously tracking your car, you should get an oil to air cooler. He's not gonna do it himself because he doesn't plan on tracking it enough to justify it, and he's ok with doing shorter sessions. He says after a few laps, the temps get high to where the computer will get power to the point where it doesn't feel must faster than the previous gen BRZ.

Ahh no no it's the gr 86, thought it was a supra, looked it up, completely different interiors, I know toyota and subarus has made a partner ship lately l, I saw this toyota ev, I forgot what it was called but there was a subaru rebrand of it, it was the exact same car with the same interior, so that what I thought was going on, I got the names mixed up
