Great review. I personally love these new CLE coupes, especially after being an owner of a w204 sedan, C204 coupe, and a w205 sedan. I’ll def be getting one for my channel to modify but not for a few years after it’s gone through it’s depreciation. Such a nice car!

Compared to the 14 year older CL550, a huge leap backwards. Not pillarless, the inside scattered with 'bolted-on' screens denying any flow in design, the rear resembling a non-descript run-of-the-mill 4-banger.

They CLE got bro outside, love to see it! I believe that the CLE cabriolet has an adjustable screen that you can power tilt up and down similar to what you would find in the more expensive SL Class. I know this vehicle isn’t perfect but I really love it. I am looking to get the 450 once it’s a year old and slightly more affordable. They really could have gone upmarket and kept the pillar-less design from the outgoing E-Class Coupe. I hate that the seat functions on the door no longer move. I am going to miss the outgoing seat controls. The 0-60 is very impressive. This is a non-AMG and still shooting to 60mph in sub 4 seconds, yikes 😍

The chrome on the door handles is needed for keyless entry. I’m looking to get a dark chrome wrap on it on my Mercedes, since it is completely blacked out, even the 20” multi spoke wheels are black on my car. All wood in Mercedes cars is real wood. Always.

Actually Mercedes listened and the chrome is available as dark chrome now with night package 2 on the new e class for the first time

Yeah I feel the same about the amg I think why I don't like it is because of the bottem sticking quite far out the back and I just don't really like the rear lightbar. But sometimes when I see cars irl which I didn't like on pictures I loved irl so maybe it's the same case here.

Why include the b pillar? Mercedes doesn’t know what they should go for. If I wanted a sporty car I would have bought a bmw . what I seek is also some luxury which the old e class coupe could provide. Now it’s just digging its own grave

Frankly, a glorified C-Class/CLA mashup is definitely not even close to everything I want from a Mercedes, particularly at the E-class price point. They didn’t even try baking in previous gen’s pillarless frames, E-class interior, or any exterior elements.

E class coupe was in a class of its own. This looks cheap and ugly. from 3/4 view looks like a Renault coupe lol. Interior as confusing as always in new Mercedes' cars
