The XLE has rain sensing wipers and memory seats. Don’t get why the XSE doesn’t have those features if the XSE is supposed to be a sporty version of the XLE. 12:52 there’s a switch for the heated steering wheel next to the fan control.

The way I understand Toyota's model line up is the XLE is the better version of the LE and the XSE is the better version of the SE. LE and XLE is more of the comfort and luxury oriented trim and the SE and XSE is the sport oriented.

This would be my next car. Reliable, great MPG, and has good enough passing passing speed. I am interested if Toyota plans on giving their best selling sedan a PHEV or a Hybrid Max power train to replace the TRD/V6 for those who want a little more power. You aren't buying a Camry for it to be a sports car, the interior may not be the most luxurious, but it's modern and very functional.

I was so set in getting the XSE with premium plus package, but after test driving the XLE I decided to go with the XSE. The XLE is a bit too floaty for my liking, whereas the XSE seems to give a better controlled ride yet still comfortable. I've only had the XSE for a few weeks and just hit 1,100 miles, I did change out the stock tires for some pirelli p 0 as plus 3 tires. Stock tires seems quite noisy. Overall, great car and glad I went with the XSE over XLE, just looks much better overall. I did test drove the accord prior, I was pretty set on it but can't get past the dull look and just felt so big. The camry definitly drove nicer and has better tech.

@@Lachnellama908 Loving every minute with this car. I've hit a little over 2500 miles now and averaging 44-46 mpg. I have added sound deadening materials to the wheel wells and front doors, probably do the rears later, to give it a quieter ride. The car can get quite a bit of road noise on some freeway road surfaces above 70 mph, the sound deadening has lowered it quite a bit now. Very comfortable car to drive and makes my work commute less stressful.

I liked the fully loaded XLE better, is more luxurious, while the XSE has a tougher suspension. The black grill on xle is also nicer, vs the one in xse which resembles a laundry basket in certain colors. XLE has memory seats, xse doesn't. Both trims are the top and either one would be nice.

XLE and XSE have laminated glass on the front cabin side windows, which cuts down on noise. (Lower trims do that with windshield only, this has both). XSE (not sure on SE) has a front strut tower brace. The new Camry's all have the 5th Gen hybrid system.

I wish this was available in Western Europe. Toyota sold the pre-facelift version in EU but only in selected market, with limited trim choices and practically without being ever advertised by Toyota, so lot of people just didn’t know it existed. As a result, it sold very poorly and in less than two years it was gone.

Great review as always. I'll be the negative comment here saying they're missing the mark with this Camry, despite the excellent drivetrain. Interior looks cheap, size of the car has gotten bloated. As a former ES 350 owner, i gave it up since the car was a giant boat -- there are 3 row SUVs that are shorter than the ES. You can tell the car is being designed and driven by the American market now, its turning into one of the big sedans of the 70s and 80s and is clearly not a halo product for Toyota anymore. Coupled with some bad model years in recent memory, the Camry is living on its previous reputation... and a lack of competition in this space. There are many worse cars out there, but this is a hard pass for me.

Sofyan, When it comes to top selling family sedans, you don't need to look much farther than the Camry LE AWD. The Camry LE is so prized that Toyota won't risk the wrath of American consumers by exporting a single unit beyond US borders. I suppose the other possibility is that the people running Toyota Canada may just be too greedy to bring the LE to our market when they can make the SE the 'base' grade instead. 🤬

The light gray interior option for the 25 Camry is called "Boulder." At least in my area, the black interior is the more uncommon of the two main interior color options. I wanted the black interior and got super lucky, getting an SE Ocean Gem AWD with the black interior. Every other Ocean Gem I've seen for sale locally has the lighter "boulder" interior, which would've been a big no for me.

Im not a huge fan of the front bumper design, that "cylon" (from the old Battlestar Gallactica show) design, but its not the worst looking thing either. It just looks "big" or "deep." The range and MPG is awesome. I cant wait for battery tech to advance enough to where we can have 500+ miles of range on EV's. If Toyota could make this car an EV that got even 350-400 miles of range, they'd sell a billion of them. The interior is very nice looking. It seems like a really great value.
@destroyerofsimps6574
@destroyerofsimps6574 3 ай бұрын
Toyota would not sell a billion of them if they got 350-400 miles of range as an EV. EV sales are down. People are going to hybrids because they can get 600 miles of range as opposed to the average of 200-300 of an EV. Toyota is being smart they are waiting for EV tech to get better. I bet by the time EV's get the 500+ mile range that's when the EV Camry will come out.

okay i know people are gonna complain about that grill, but here's the thing guys. the grill Toyota has used the last couple of years, i wasn't a fan of that either. i would love for the Camry to go back to it's classy roots, so the more conservative they make the Camry, the better it'll age. that said however, Toyota certainly could've did better than this front end. they have that look on some Lexus vehicles, and it just looks odd to me. so this look isn't any better than the pre 2020 design. now as to why Toyota is doing this, i don't know, but Honda has a similar thing going on with their lineup. the Civic looks fine, but the Accord looks horrible with that grill. so i don't know what's going on, but it seems like the industry has gotten lazy in the styling department. they probably ran out of ideas, this is why i don't have a problem with Nissan and Mazda not wanting to change their lineup much. the Frontier for example has had the same styling for 15 years, until the 2021 Frontier, and most of Mazda's cars all look similar. sure it does get dated after awhile, but unless you come up with something better, it's honestly better to go with a more conservative style. but one thing you can't do, is make odd looking grills like this. you know why Hyundai is doing so well, it's because the styling is just right. it's not too crazy, and it's not too overstyled, they're just right. the Palisade is a good vehicle, because the styling isn't too crazy up front, and yet it still looks clean and elegant at the same time.

A few thoughts while watching this: Love that exterior color!! Ugh. I remember when the Camry used to be affordable. But $43K is too much. Monthly payment would be quite high, even for 6 years. Fortunately, I wouldn't be going with the top line version. Great MPG Decent enough 0-60 Styling of exterior is quite fine. Nice that they have an extra LED on the bottom part of the front. Worth the extra. I wouldn't do the two tone, though. Would MUCH rather have BODY COLORED side mirrors. Wheels are not my favorite. I'd stick with what it comes with. Don't need a panoramic roof. Interior design is okay. Too bad that the HUD is only in the Premium, but that's typical. Ultimately, it's a nice car that I could see myself getting, other than the price.

This is why I went with the Accord. The Camry doesn’t feel as premium for the 42k they wanted for it.

@@chibbyylol True. But I will only be happy with spending even that amount if I'm able to get the larger screen. That will increase the cost, of course, but not to the amount of the one in this video. I'll go build one now and see what the cost will be. So it looks like even an XLE is $10K less than the one in the video. That's a fair price. And even in that wonderful new blue color!

I would buy this car right now if it has a button right in the middle of the dash to turn on the heated steering wheel. One more thing I require. You must be able to push the talk button on the steering wheel and simply say. "Turn on heated steering wheel". That's it I would buy this car right now if there were three ways to turn on the heated steering wheel. 1. touching the screen. 2. A button in the middle of the HVAC. 3. Simply ask the car to do it for you.
