I was so set in getting the XSE with premium plus package, but after test driving the XLE I decided to go with the XSE. The XLE is a bit too floaty for my liking, whereas the XSE seems to give a better controlled ride yet still comfortable. I've only had the XSE for a few weeks and just hit 1,100 miles, I did change out the stock tires for some pirelli p 0 as plus 3 tires. Stock tires seems quite noisy. Overall, great car and glad I went with the XSE over XLE, just looks much better overall. The car can get quite a bit of road noise on some freeway road surfaces above 70 mph, the sound deadening has lowered it quite a bit now. Great review as always. I'll be the negative comment here saying they're missing the mark with this Camry, despite the excellent drivetrain. Interior looks cheap, size of the car has gotten bloated. As a former ES 350 owner, i gave it up since the car was a giant boat -- there are 3 row SUVs that are shorter than the ES. You can tell the car is being designed and driven by the American market now, its turning into one of the big sedans of the 70s and 80s and is clearly not a halo product for Toyota anymore. Coupled with some bad model years in recent memory, the Camry is living on its previous reputation... and a lack of competition in this space. There are many worse cars out there, but this is a hard pass for me.

Im not a huge fan of the front bumper design, that "cylon" (from the old Battlestar Gallactica show) design, but its not the worst looking thing either. It just looks "big" or "deep." The range and MPG is awesome. I cant wait for battery tech to advance enough to where we can have 500+ miles of range on EV's. If Toyota could make this car an EV that got even 350-400 miles of range, they'd sell a billion of them. The interior is very nice looking. It seems like a really great value.
@destroyerofsimps65743 ай бұрын
Toyota would not sell a billion of them if they got 350-400 miles of range as an EV. EV sales are down. People are going to hybrids because they can get 600 miles of range as opposed to the average of 200-300 of an EV. Toyota is being smart they are waiting for EV tech to get better. I bet by the time EV's get the 500+ mile range that's when the EV Camry will come out.

okay i know people are gonna complain about that grill, but here's the thing guys. the grill Toyota has used the last couple of years, i wasn't a fan of that either. i would love for the Camry to go back to it's classy roots, so the more conservative they make the Camry, the better it'll age. that said however, Toyota certainly could've did better than this front end. they have that look on some Lexus vehicles, and it just looks odd to me. so this look isn't any better than the pre 2020 design. now as to why Toyota is doing this, i don't know, but Honda has a similar thing going on with their lineup. the Civic looks fine, but the Accord looks horrible with that grill. so i don't know what's going on, but it seems like the industry has gotten lazy in the styling department. they probably ran out of ideas, this is why i don't have a problem with Nissan and Mazda not wanting to change their lineup much. the Frontier for example has had the same styling for 15 years, until the 2021 Frontier, and most of Mazda's cars all look similar. sure it does get dated after awhile, but unless you come up with something better, it's honestly better to go with a more conservative style. but one thing you can't do, is make odd looking grills like this. you know why Hyundai is doing so well, it's because the styling is just right. it's not too crazy, and it's not too overstyled, they're just right. the Palisade is a good vehicle, because the styling isn't too crazy up front, and yet it still looks clean and elegant at the same time.

Biggest thing that made me dislike the car is the transmission and I hate CVT they are shit and annoying transmission breaks down and they are expensive

2025 Camry. That much closer to the video review of the 2025 Sienna.

I have watched almost all of your vehicle reviews and they were all good. Once thing I noticed in the beginning is that you are always doing that famous baby steps. Can you reformat the intro and make a different one. We'd love to see new changes. Thanks.

43k? Makes sense why all the newer camry drivers drive like bmw drivers.

Wish I could get past the CVT. Seems like a motor boat.

The new Camry is nice but on the road it looks no different than the previous model. So that can be a win.

Well that’s not true. They made the front bumper even uglier. But other than that, yeah, looks the same. I’m sure it’s a fine car but I would never be able to live with having to see that giant cheese grater every time I got out.

More power, more features, more refinement and AWD

@@InvestBetter. more power vs the hybrid or base engine sure but not vs the v6. And it doesn’t really have more features

I would buy this car right now if it has a button right in the middle of the dash to turn on the heated steering wheel. One more thing I require. You must be able to push the talk button on the steering wheel and simply say. "Turn on heated steering wheel". That's it I would buy this car right now if there were three ways to turn on the heated steering wheel. 1. touching the screen. 2. A button in the middle of the HVAC. 3. Simply ask the car to do it for you.
@kevinwood61633 ай бұрын
My XSE does all that. You can control heated steering wheel through the touch screen, the dash (button marked with down arrow button in middle), or by talking to car.

@@kevinwood6163I know Kevin. Mine does it to. I was being a wise guy. He spent a week with the car and never noticed the button. I can excuse the talk to turn on. Not everyone knows that. Even owners. Sounds like you are enjoying the car. I am.
