I didn't appreciate the thumbnail clip claiming "The man that ages backwards" when that is not Bryan Johnson's claim. He ages at a slower pace than most, but still ages forward like everyone else. Maybe if you boil a few of his results down into isolation, you could make that claim about that specific organ or metric, but overall, the "man" is still aging forwards. Keep in mind that when your age is measured biologically at 46, what that actually means is that you are as healthy as the general population at age 46.

I have listened to Bryan on other podcasts & feel that those other podcasts failed to capture the depth of this endeavor. I loved the nuisance of this conversation. It went so deep! I’m going to listen to it again. I work in Regenerative Health & help people reverse chronic disease using diet & holistic interventions. This conversation has me thinking about how I can support my clients on a deeper level. We do truly live in an environment where the environment we’re in doesn’t support individual health & wellbeing. This is why the disease epidemic is so pervasive. I really appreciated this conversation. I especially resonated with Bryan speaking about compassion. As a species we do have to move beyond death and destruction. It’s such a broken and limited paradigm. Thanks so much! I’m going to be sharing this podcast episode with many people!

I'm doing the low budget version of Mr. Johnson's program. I'm using a lot of the strategies that Dr. Michael Greger suggests in his book "How Not to Age". I would say that it is working. I'm 53 but my metabolic age is 46. I'm running my second marathon in March. My goal is to maximize my healthspan as well as my lifespan as much as possible and take advantage of the advances in anti-aging medicine as those occur in the future. If I had the resources I would probably pursue many of the therapies that Mr. Johnson is doing if I'm honest.
@ThePathOfEudaimonia9 ай бұрын
What are the major interventions that you are using?
@bgrune19 ай бұрын
@@ThePathOfEudaimonia I’m mainly focusing on the basics with optimized sleep, a healthy plant based diet, lots of exercise including cardio and weight training, spending time with friends and family preferably outdoors, etc. On a more esoteric level I have a supplement regimen and I’ve developed a carefully designed fiber blend which I take twice daily. My diet is also pretty thoughtfully designed. For example I’ve created a wild blueberry oatmeal recipe that actually contains many functional ingredients such as Amla powder, moong dal, barley groats, high ORAC spices such as cloves, Ceylon cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, etc. I batch cook this recipe about once a week and eat it with fresh fruits and soy milk and sprouted flax powder every day. I also batch cook 6 pounds of frozen collard and mustard greens at a time in my 8 quart Instant Pot and eat those with everything else I cook throughout the week. I could go on and on.

This is the most fascinating podcast episode I've ever listened to, bar none, and I've listened to a whole lot of episodes from many different podcasts over the years. I'd never heard of Bryan before this. What a shame. Apart from the specifics of his quest, I feel like I got to know Bryan and am now even more keen to get know him better. His honesty, authenticity and vulnerability all came through thanks to Rich's interviewing skills. Bryan, you're a very special person. If you're ever in Toronto, I'd love to go for a walk or meet for dinner at 11am. Keep being you and thank you for sharing yourself with us.

Wow, both of you were humble, curious and vulnerable. I’ve been following Bryan’s journey for about a year and felt his emotional and generous connection to Project Blueprint. What a privilege to listen to your dialogue, and I definitely want an invite to that dinner!

I think Bryan is getting better at refining his points. Distilling them down to their simplest form and adding better analogy's.

I've been following Bryan for quite a long time now with great interest. I'm on my second listen through this interview right now. This is by far the most relatable and best in depth explanation as to why Bryan is doing what he does. Rich is a fantastic interviewer and Bryan is truly going where no one has gone before. I'm a 62 year old woman trying to implement Blueprint slowly (as best I can financially) and I love the science and philosophy behind it. The idea that I often do not have my own best interests at heart resonates so well with me. And I really loved the evidence here that it is never too late. Now if I could only get my 18 year old son to give me some plasma.

Bryan, when you discussed your religious upbringing, and how that brought you to distrust all authority, I I could’ve completed your sentences for a few minutes of this podcast. I share a similar experience. Glad you turned that into a quest for facts-based knowledge and a genuine desire to solve humanity’s greatest unresolved problem. I will be following your journey. I hope you succeed!!

Truly the most amazing podcast with Bryan that he has ever been on. It went on so many deep levels that other interviewers simply don't go that it is hard to describe the rollercoaster of emotions I felt watching it. And, surprisingly, I think Bryan's message was the clearest in this interview. I can't pin point the exact reason but it could have been the genuineness of these 2 spectacular human beings brought into a beautiful connection and creating this conversation that was more down the line of a psychedelic experience rather than a simple conversation.

Bryan’s humility speaks volumes. This was such a phenomenal interview, and kept me engaged through its entirety. Bryan’s direct and clear vision extracted the very best of Rich, who is already a brilliant speaker and interviewer. The conversation flowed naturally because they both came ready to dive deeply, and push conversational boundaries. I’ve been listening to Rich for years, but this is an exceptionally good interview from the RR Pod.

I didn't listen to this right away because I've listened to 10 other podcasts with Brian on them. By far, this is the best interview I've seen with him so far. Rich, you are a treasure. What Brian is doing truly is fascinating.

A very unique, special and profound conversation! I was already following Bryan on Instagram, but hadn’t had the grasp of his purpose and his overall background and context. I loved this opportunity to know him and his work through the guidance of a Rich Roll’s mindful conversation. It was a very nice, fluid and engaging dialogue to watch. Specially from the point of view of another society statistical “outlier”! I’ve a very nice and diverse group of friends and family, I know the struggles of standing out by having different choices in life. It’s so much easier when I’m in a like-minded group of people, all seeking lifespan extension. Bryan does it on another level, I really appreciate the commitment and effort. Thank you both! Isabel 🇵🇹

Bryan Johnson, you are a gift to humanity and possibly a limitless possibility to go beyond the expected limitations of our living. I have watched your interviews on various podcasts. This is the best. So much to learn and think about while watching you talk. So much negativity about what you do also reminds me about how so much vulgar abuses were thrown at me when I published a book about my own childhood experiences and traumas. The book was published in my native language Punjabi 2 years back but I still haven't recovered from the blames and abuses. Your attitude about taking the criticism so lightly is giving me strength to get over it. Thank you so much !! And thanks to Rich Roll for having this brilliant podcast.

We will all get old and we all will die. Some age slower some faster. Rich is a great interviewer. I'm a follower of Buddhism for many years now. No judgement here just let him go on this path until he can't.

I used to think BJ was weird and didn’t think much else of him. My mind warmed up to him on a previous interview, I think it was Diary of a CEO. But THIS podcast shows somewhat of how his philosophy formed. Of course Rich Roll is the only interviewer who could elucidate this information from Mr. Johnson. I’m SO excited about this idea of hacking our physiology and our bio-world to include sustainable energy, environmental science, health and wellbeing. I can see his take on history and technology and I am tickled by DONT DIE. Wow, I would like to try assisted democratic biology. And I think God, Allah, the cosmos is bringing this information to us in the form of idea and consciousness. I love the technical holistic biological physiological approach to don’t die and don’t kill. Don’t kill each other, don’t kill our planet, don’t act in destructive ways. ✌️ Hey , if you need a similar aged female to blueprint- I will do it! Thank you for your innovative, rigorous evolution of our species.

My mind is a drunken sailor too!!! I also fired my evening self a year ago😅 This was the best interview I have listened to with Bryan . Thank you Rich. To Bryan , I’m looking forward to checking out the products when they come out. So far I’ve been able to do the “poor man” version of blueprint for the last couple years while working as a hair and makeup artist in the film industry. We work crazy hours and live in a crazy world , so if I can do it , others will and can too.

This was a great interview! Bryan is authentic and an inspiration to challenge ourselves! You have to be beyond emotional and spiritual to do something that will benefit humanity with your money! Zero definitely have has many layers. Some people can’t see beyond the scope. The blueprint is what we need for our ailing society. Most millionaires only want to increase their wealth!

I have probably watched every Bryan Johnson interview and this is undoubtedly the best one I have seen. I appreciated the depths you were able to reach. I now think a lot about AI and also believe that we have already lost the agency that is so often collectively assumed. As Mo Gawdat puts it, we will be equivalent to the intelligence of a fly in comparison to AI by 2049. It is scary to step into the unknown but it is waste of time to agonize about it. The only chance we have is to align our values with a greater good that goes beyond ourselves. I am grateful for the call to higher consciousness that Bryan exemplifies. It truly gives me hope and has empowered me to make meaningful change in my own life.
