Yeah, im not touching the game again tell we at least have the new character creator. Though i likely wont touch it again tell after SQ42 unless enough things come to the PU to pull me back in. Because even though the PU does have a lot of gameplay for group play and people making their own emergent experience by interacting with frields. Right now it doesn't have much that truly keeps me interested. I tend to be more of a non combat person and until quantum gets put in that side will feel a little lack luster.

4:40 if you can put a snub fighter in of those containers, you can have a hiden squandron of fighters on a Hull, and then you can fly close to another Hull C and put on an airshow.

Another thing about deleting shader folders, updates now create their own shader library directory with every patch. So...beyond saving storage I don't know if it does anything these days.

I believe the usable storage containers are the next step to phasing out the magic inventory menus of our ships. Basically, to physicallize ALL of our cargo. Give us somewhere more “real” to stow our loot when travelling instead of a magic void.

A bit sad that munching turned out to be yet another beam system, based on the description it sounds very much like they copy/pasted mining gameplay but pointing at a ship instead of a rock. Here is hoping they don't settle and future iterations move beyond a beam, I wanna see their maelstrom system put to use when munching an entire ship in a grinder.

I wouldn’t mind a mix with beams to dissect a ship and the claw to retrieve and grind down those chunks. It’s difficult though, collisions aren’t great overall in sc, using a claw to grab things is a bit of a stretch now

Did you listen? The test build doesn't contain all planned features for 3.22 because they add them iteratively, test them, then add more, test those, then add more etc. It's the way closed testing is done.

Structural salvage is so much bigger than just salvage structure. Base building and all those things seem to be related to the structural salvage if you look into the pipeline. My guess is that they can realy easily add more once they got this structural system working. People confuse salvage and scavenging cause they used the salvage contracts XD. Taking boxes out of wrecks is part of salvage yes. But only taking boxes just to take the goods is more like scavenging.

The Replication Service currently runs on each DGS so it is taking up CPU thread cycles and network bandwidth for each DGS. When it is split off to the Hybrid Layer it will lessen the workload for each DGS a bit, so there should be a slight improvement in DGS performance even with 1 star system per DGS (which is the first iteration planned).

Not getting full customization as seen at CitCon. These are just some hairdos in the current customization. Mostly testing long hair. The salvage structural will be fun. But we have to have a way to cut up the ship in order to fit it into the ship ports that process it.

Can we clear the whole salvage issue up. over 2 years ago Todd Pappy said Savage would come out like this, people who thought salvage was just hull scrapping(that includes even the UTube SC creators)though that was it so even they didn't pay attention. The whole "beam citizen" is stupid and childish, you can't have your cake and eat it, say it should be insanely detailed physical geometry coming into your device or ship then claim the game is taking to long and making fun of beams. SaltEMike got it wrong and ranted about, that's the problem with SC community" reacting" it makes your reactions look stupid rather than actually looking and thinking about information.

I would think the hair update is just the physicalized hair update but not the customization. Basically how the hair moves and interacts using existing hair styles. This means they don’t have to mess with the UI and customizer just yet. Just replace the hair physics model with the new one.
