Mcdoubles back again with a brand new video and today we hop on our strength-based character and create a brand new Dragon Warrior 2h build with hopes to steamroll some more progression on the character and use this video to lead up to a multiple part series where we level the Dragon Warrior, dominate with it at max, and test out all of the new changes made in Season 8 in the last month.
Specifically we'll be taking Dragon Warrior through Orgrimmar to buy some brand new heirlooms that were added to the game, then leveling it through PvP in battlegrounds from 1-60. When we reach max we'll hop into some raids, mythics, and mythic+ dungeons with the ultimate goal of kitting this guy out in PvE and then eventually collecting a full PvP set and testing it out Project Ascension Season 8 in PvP as well.

RE suggestion - Samuro's Lagacy(Legendary): Your Bladestorm now evolves, and channels for as long as you have rage. Drains X amount of rage each second. RE suggestion - Mirror image(epic): Teaches you mirror image. Your mirror images will attack your enemies for a duration of 20 seconds. In addition, while weilding a single two-handed weapon your mirror images will generate rage for you with each hit. Mirror images critical strikes reduces the cooldown of Bladestorm by 3 seconds. The mirror images will not copy your Bladestorm. RE suggestion - Overwhelming criticals(epic): Your Mirror Images now benefits from your critical strike rating. In addition, your Overpower criticals reduces the cooldown of your mirror image by 5 seconds. Now, this is a work in progress. But i figured i'd see if it would get a decent response at least. This is a nod to the Blademaster Samuro from Warcraft 3. If you like this please go onto the discord and upvote the suggestion, maybe they will see it. :>

I’m pretty sure you can free roll rares like lava burst that say “Taking this won’t lower your chance to get spells of this quality”. In fact it’s probably better to take them so they don’t dilute your pool of rares. So at 10:30 you take burst here and don’t take up uncommon slots while taking burst out of your subsequent rare drafts.

Didn't try the whole frost thing tho as I'm fairly new to the game and don't really know what to choose to ramp up damage and crit ya know. It was a fun experiment tho. Mind you, I'm building for pvp not PvE, it's possible that it may have been nice for PvE.. I'm on area 52 btw

The build that is my absolute favorite to play on a 2H str character is Thunder Slam. Nice and braindead, very few buttons and still pretty decent. Might be interesting for this str char :) -Knirr

One thing I learned in s7 on dragon warrior open with dragon charge and insta dragon roar go for 3 stacks then roar and when dragon charge comes off cd u use it to up the dmg of dragon roar. Battle stance > berserker and if ur hit)expertise capped go for ap

Normal questing is fine. If you are an efficient quester you will hit max level in no time, since the XP gains are massively increased vs vanilla, and you can also easily buy potions that double XP gain on the AH if you want. You can also easily level by doing battlegrounds but you’ll probably be a massive drag on your team if you don’t know what you’re doing, at least in less populated BGs.

Its probably not good to heal with a bow and arrow, but that shouldn't stop you from trying. Don't be afraid to make something that ends up being bad mate, I do it all the time so you're not alone.

Herod's Legacy would be a dps loss on DW due to the length of a high stack Legacy spin. For the GCDs that you can't Bloodthirst due to the reset from Bloodsurge talent having an internal cooldown you could try to pick up Colossus Smash and combine it with Warbreaker RE once you have enough expertise to not need Weapon Command to turn it into an AOE. Once you decide to move on from DW on your strength character, if you still want to play around with Herod's Legacy, I'd recommend revisiting Wind Rager. The effect of Herod's Legacy still counts as WW for generating tornados and since its a separate ability instead of a replacer for regular WW you can still do your normal rotation while Legacy is on cooldown.

idk if you were doing it some times but from the clips i watched closely you wernt and i could be wrong but shouldnt you execute then slam when its available I think the RE said that execute does same thing as bloodthirst so I think single targ at execute stage you should be doing that instead of blood thirst could be wrong though with rage consumption ect.

Agree price of heirloom is correct, except Staff price that is overpriced as it give almost the same stat as the 1H Mace but cost twice. Hope they will soon add a Shield Heirloom, because that's one of the biggest piece of equipment for most tank - Manatank
