8:05 uh, no. It's just really yummy, and we should be able to eat yummy things and then get cozy and watch something, read or sleep, and not have to worry about health effects.... but there's no god, and life is meaningless. All these rules and bad chemistry in the body to make it work is dog ish.

Dan, great video. I think ideally the video should be divided in chapters (just so that people interested in particular tips/advice for reverse aging can find what they're looking for). But keep going, man. Great content.

@@danfounderI see you implemented some things into your newer videos and you are improving a lot, I loved the video about what to do in your 20’s

It’s hilarious how I feel much better at 40 compared to my 20’s and like my life has really just started with my two young kids age 4 and 9. Meanwhile I have buddy’s who believe we are supposed to have beer guts and try to say what’s the point in starting to care what’s in their food or particular ingredients in drinks. I live at a mining camp during my week on of shift work with men younger and older than myself who can’t go a meal without juice and/or chocolate milk and seriously get upset when the camp doesn’t have the juice refilled hahaha. Basically in the gym alone each day feeling fresh as a daisy eating my own beef I bring, then we got grown adults mad the chocolate milk isn’t refreshed or they’re out of chicken fingers.

Great video. You look great. Me and my husband are in our mid '40s and have figured out how to eat well and strength train hard. Unfortunately, we keep sabotaging ourselves and our gains with our alcohol consumption.

About the metabolism thing, there was a study by herman pontzer back in 2021 with 6000+ participants that basically showed metabolism does not slow at all until you are at least over 60, and there were still some 70-75 year old outliers who had metabolisms comparable to most 25 year olds. By 90 basically everyone's metabolism tanked but that's expected I guess.

Great stuff Dan! Here in UK I don't think we can get regular blood work done, it's every ten years I believe. Which is a shame as it's an early warning system for many things.

Get a specific moisturizer for the eyes and one for the face. I’ll do a video on this at some point.

Hi Dan. Great insights as usual. Could you detail what kind of bloodwork we should ask for ? It seems pretty common in the US but here in France lot less so. What should I ask for for a comprehensive bloodtest ? Thanks
