Empaths are useful to others and must become good at taking care of self in order to remain available for others; must be cautious and discerning because there are sociopaths and narcissists.

This is a fantastic summary of the life stages of the empath who evolves to the point of maximizing their gift. It is not a journey for the weak or weary. The conscious empath is a person who never allowed him/herself to let go of the gift - even when they didnt understand or may not have even known that it was present. They literally had their heart blown up with a grenade and had to piece it back together. They discovered the beauty and burden of this gift and gradually moved into full acceptance of its powerful light. Once acceptance occurs, there is no going back. Acceptance will come with the desire to fiercely protect the gift and s/he who is blessed with it. It will also come with a deep desire to polish and brighten that light so that it blinds with the love it emanates. It will encourage others to find their own light and do the same-- just as you have done and continue to do. Thank you!!!

Amazing. So well explained. I am in stage 4 now after a lifetime of abuse (stage 1). Interesting to see how narcissists who abused me are now in fear and envy since I wrote their abuse on Instagram. Exposing narcissists is like the sunlight on vampires. Stage 4 is liberating, enpowering, necessary although I am still in pain/rage sometimes and need to isolate. Sometimes I am still afraid at a new attack but I know I will confront their disrespect bluntly. Thank tou Vital 😘💪🏽

It has been a long hard journey that has brought me to where I am today. At times the treatment at the hands of narcissists has been relentless and unbearable. Thank you . I'm beginning to understand myself & why I put myself in situations I do. I'm I just found out all about empath 5 years ago when I was feeling crazy out of my mind but that took my best friend to tell me he was gaslight & Narcissisti 2 words I never knew about. I grew up with it in my family as a child with my parents. I'm on my way healing inside a narcissistic relationship. I am starting to find my boundaries. I need to give myself more self-love the easier it gets. Each time I leave to go help my parents out of state, I have my boundaries with know I'm stronger & more empowered & he can't stand that one bit. I do what I want to do when I want. I'm on my way to the second step. This time I can't pack & leave. I own my own home & he will not leave when I ask him to. So, any suggestions to help me grow with my boundaries & strength? ❤
