I was there that day for my bday! As well as the third. It was one of the best Independence Day birthdays I’ve had! It was also a bucket list spot and it was everything i hoped for, minus top thrill 😢! Flash pass for the two days i visited was the best decision ever. And the night rides on Millennium Force, Maverick and Steel Vengeance were hands down the best part of the experience. The little kids screaming happy birthday ALL DAY, and the lineman at the Barbecue spot rallying the entire restaurant to sing happy birthday to me was an experience I’ve never had! I’ll be back soon! I also stayed at Sawmill Creek which was scenic and very quiet, has spacious rooms and an extremely nice staff ❤

We were there yesterday. We got there at 5 and were still able to ride Gatekeeper. The worst part was getting home.

It is not. It was down for a couple days while they did something to the cable for the lift.

Thanks for update heading there next Sunday and Monday and the updates are key. It will be only my second time going to the park and that first visit was over 10 years ago so I’m very excited about getting to spend a couple days.

I went on June 30 and in the gatekeeper had no line and basically every other ride besides valravn.

Sunday was not busy, but monday was. We have gone on the 4th several times and crowds have been low, but not this year. It was getting crazy when we left at 11:30. We went in long enough for my guys to get a ride on wild mouse and grab a meal before leaving. It was getting so hot and we had already spent all day monday there as well as part of sunday.

Had a terrible 3rd and 4th there .my sons girlfriend came from Canada to hit the park w us for the holiday . maverick barely running , waited for an hour to get told ride was being shut down . got stuck on the pipe scream for around 20 min in blistering heat , when we finally got off we were handed a regular fast pass for one ride , not a plus for one ride , not a drink voucher . i headed to the customer service in the back of the park and explained what happened to us , a very nice guy working in there gave us 2 exit passes ea for what he said was good for any ride in the park . we headed to steel vengeance since we waited for over an hour the day before only to have it only to have the worker tell us those passes werent good for SV ,. headed back to customer service and he apologized and gave us 5 more passes good for any ride . headed back to SV and used our passes only to stand in line for 40 min and have the ride break down again . headed to maverick as it was being shut down again . walked to magnum to see it sitting still on the hill . valravn was off and on both days . used fast plus on millineum , still waited 45min . everything that was running was very inefficient . 3 coasters on the track but letting each one cycle completely before even letting the next one on the lift hill . the park wasnt even super busy which made everything even more frustrating . they did really up their game on the food end but i go to ride rides . you would figure 2 days would be enough to ride everything at least once w some waiting but we only got to ride gatekeeper , millineum, rougarou , power tower , gemini , and the wild mouse , raptor and pipe scream . VERY DISSAPOINTING .

Millennium waits until the third train is on the brake run before dispatching because of how the block zones are placed on that ride. Yeah, rides being up and down have been the mantra for cedar point. It can definitely lead to some rather unpleasant experiences.

Gate Keeper was a decent ride, i thought it would be a little more intense because it’s a B&M although I’ve listen to all the talk about how smooth it is before riding. I road Valravn about 8 to 10 times each day 😅 that second drop is better than the first. I wish they had a part of the day where they spent a few hours and didn’t stop you at the cliff of the first drop just to really feel the intensity of the first drop, i was extremely surprised at how tall it is in person. Valravns final break run tho 🙄, i hated it every time. The final turn on Raptor was a lovely surprise as well tho it kinda hurts on the back row especially if you take an outside seat 🥴 and Rougarou influenced me to like B&M floor less coasters again!

i wish I could go to knoebels, hershey park KI dorny. and more plus have a fast lane every time i would absolutely love that but unfortunately for me i work hard 9-5, 7 days a week and still can't afford it talk about heartbreaking and when I can im always by myself (i wished my sons liked coasters) im sad going alone every time, just want to let you guys know i envy you two and to keep doing what your doing. im still honored to have been on the same train on magnum opening day with you two. did you ever ride wild cats revenge yet? i know you missed out on it the other day and how was Phoenix and impulse at knobels ?

Phoenix was nice, very smooth and we liked it more than we did the other times we rode. And no, unfortunately no wildcats revenge for us. No idea when we’ll be back to that park either.

I was at Cedar Point today! Didn't see you, sadly. Only got to ride millie and Steve because the lines were so long, and I was exhausted and left early, but it was still better than no coasters, haha.

Agree about Maverick! We have a goal to ride it 100 times this summer (we're at 34 so far). When it's running and they're pacing well, it's a Fast Lane walk-on. However, we're finding that it is down a lot this year! Not sure we'll make the 100 if it keeps up like this.

I've been 15+ times this year and maybe 1 hour total of maverick downtime..Thursday,Friday and Saturday less than 10 mins of downtime..The ride goes down alot due to puke or the trains not being at certain spots at certain time....$25 bucks a pop,if fastlane is longer than 30 mins they won't sell any ore

Enjoyed the video as always. You can get a good look at Dragster construction from the Power Tower……can’t video from it though. Next yr. the July 4th will probably be super busy with the new Dragster open ?!
