On the 26th of January, 1966, three children would go missing / disappear from an Adelaide Beach without a trace, creating one of the most notorious unsolved cold cases in Australian history. Despite a $1,000,000 reward, numerous suspects, and the largest search operation in South Australian history, the disappearance has never been solved. DNA technology has aided the case over the last couple of years, however, has failed to convict one of the 4 suspects presented in the video. Will this case ever be solved?
This is, What Happened to The Beaumont Children? (An Unsolved Cold Case)
Thank you guys for watching, like and sub if you enjoyed, SunnyV2 XO ❤

Honestly I think that Harry guy needs to be searched more thoroughly. Wife threw away evidence, he lived quit close, attracted to kids, fits the facial description, and fits the age range. There is a HUGE chance it's him.

My grandfather told me that he kept up to date with this case from NSW watching it as a kid. After I watched this last week and asked him about it, he told me, he had never forgot that they went missing and that sometimes they just never can be found. But he and now I still hold would hope that they will be found, alive or dead it doesn't matter anymore they just need to be found.

In todays culture there are so many things wrong with sending your 9YO child to a beach to be in charge of your 7 and 4 YO siblings. Apart from the stranger danger concerns, there is the, how can the oldest girl Jane manage her younger siblings while swimming at a beach when she could barely look after herself. Also travelling on public transport and street traffic, a 9YO girl is going to struggle to keep her eye on and manage the 2 younger ones when crossing roads, boarding buses etc. But as I was born in 1964 I come from a similar time and I used to go to the beach by myself, or pack a lunch and ride off on my bike for the whole day as an 8YO with my parents having no way of contacting me. I'm now a father of a 9YO boy and if I allowed my son to do anything we did back then I would be considered irresponsible.

I cannot imagine what it would be like to have all THREE of your children disappear. Usually, you hear that one child (rarely two) have suffered an unfortunate fate but not usually more than that. If you do, it's usually the parents who are responsible in some way (not that I think the parents did it in this particular instance but in most other cases they are primary suspects). For all of their children to get taken, I cannot imagine the grief the parents must have felt- especially the mother who passed away without knowing what happened to her children. It must be harrowing.

I see it as the duty of a country's army to take action in such a case. And EVERYONE should have understood that every single house was searched. @tobiasreaper3650
@tobiasreaper3650 2 жыл бұрын
I think he is, by far, the best suspect. He had motive, he had opportunity, and he had means. We know he liked children, he lived on the beach, giving him opportunity and means of committing the crime, and also making him the most likely to have already met the kids before. A child went into a shop and paid for something using a £1 note, something he was known for, and would have been unusual for most (especially children at the time). His son said he saw the kids, which is a lot more reliable than a witness saying they recognize a suspect 30-40 years later. Based on the dimensions, I'm guessing that those two employees dug temporary holding graves that were only used for a few days before he moved them somewhere more remote. His wife acted very suspicious about the purse, which leads me to believe she may have been in on it.

This was probably the most unsettling cold case I have EVER read about. It's not simply because how they were found (because it's a cold case, duh) but because of how open the speculation is. For example, what if the "Brilliant Surgery" was actually true and a disgusting, putrid and horrifically stitched body of three small children is just somewhere rotting in Australia.

Thank you for telling this story, it is so important to South Australia’s history. My mum had interactions with Jim at her work, and he’s apparently a lovely man, who even throughout everything he’d been through is still friendly human. I think all of Adelaide hopes one day this gets solved. Also I think it is interesting to note that in 2007, Channel 7 dug up archived footage that shows a man that may be Von Einem watching the search on the beach

Does anyone else think the police are focusing too much on the fact that the guy who was seen on the beach with the children "looked like he was in his thirties"...? Ages can be extremely deceiving. Some people just look much, much older or much younger than they actually are. Two of the boys I went to high school with started losing their hair before they even graduated, for example (hey, it sucks but it does happen), & by the time they were 19, they genuinely looked like middle-aged men.
@KatieBellino

Certainly, I had that thought too. A 19 year old could end up described as being in their 30s and vice versa, especially when people are just glancing at them on the beach.

I can’t even imagine how the mother must have felt through her entire life following the incident. Not only did she have the grief and denial of closure, but she must have felt such immense guilt for not having accompanied them to the beach that day. She probably thought every day about how she could have prevented their disappearance had she been there and that’s heartbreaking.

We need to get rid of the pop psychology term "closure". For parents who lose children there never is any kind of resolution of the horrible feelings associated with that occurrence. The grief is always with you--all the feelings of anger, bargaining, acceptance etc. and many more that are claimed to be "stages" of grief can occur in no particular order and two or more (or all) can be present simultaneously. Kubler-Ross' writings were discredited by later studies.

I feel so bad, like imagine the amount despair, sadness, depression, and hopelessness must feel after losing your children. The one thing that you love most in this universe, stripped away from you, never to be seen again and never found or even solved about what happened. Only to be met with prank letters and jokes while you sit there hoping one day your children will come home. After some maniac took them from you. When you could have stopped them, went with them, kept them home, but no. All while waiting and waiting for your children to come home.
