Flew on an Air Caraibes A 330 in 2006. I must admit, this was one of the best experience I had. Economy with real food, on real china, with steel cutlery and real glass glasses. You don't have that anymore.

The food looked impressive. I just flew Business Class with Turkish Airlines from the US to Istanbul and you only got a cold meal box with food that was barely eatable.

It's because of Covid-19. I flew 4 flights on Turkish Airlines in the past month and all I got was their "Aged cheese sandwich" with some cake, juice and a Sirma water bottle. I have no idea how giving cold food is going to prevent spreading Covid-19 as hot food is more likely to kill the virus due to heat.

Yep, my company tried to put m,e on TK last week, I refused, 15 hour flight with a couple of sandwiches and a 2-2-2 config...No thanks, ended up on QR...Let's just say I didn't mind a couple more hours in the air with them.

Interesting that sushi is served on a French airline on transatlantic route with chopsticks also 🤔. I’m sure quite a few people would be a bit struggle to use them 😆. Anyway, I’m glad to see that there are still airlines out there that doesn’t take advantage on premium pax during pandemic. Nice meal service just like regular flight. I agree - although it’s easier on this domestic flight as there’s no regulations that can be imposed by the other country/for international travel, like for exemple the UAE that made it compulsory to serve pre-packed food (they lifted the ban now).

Great vlog as always. The longest domestic flight I think it is from Paris to Martinique, 10h at least. In the old days you would also see KLM planes there. In Europe you would see 727 from Pan Am and TWA.

I was supposed to fly in March from Paris to Guadeloupe with XL Airways - and found out a week beforehand that it had gone out of business the previous October. So I lost all my money. The only way I could fight it was by making a claim at the French version of the small claims court, so I gave up. Super annoying. Jealous that you got to go - but it looks cool! :)

The food on your flight looked superb.I'd fly on a paper-dart and eat dog-food whilst being served by a tramp to get back to the Caribbean,but until covid goes away,it doesn't seem worth the investment.It's a real shame that must be hitting the islands hard
