Hey! Im quite young (around the same age as you tbh) and Im collecting Nintendo consoles! Ive got a couple rn but in December im getting a wii. I used to have one but my family threw it away without asking :( Next year in gonna buy an NES classic and hopefully a wii u :)

If you regret buying your console then don't buy another one until your satisfied with the one you have. I have a series x and im completely fine with it. One of the first things I did was play halo 5 and infinite. I use my console almost every day. People like to badmouth xbox but at least they try to put out games that they think people will want.

Funny you mention the Wii U being better than buying a PS5…….. well the Nintendo Switch 2 coming out next year and is going to have to save gaming!! Nintendo always brings new ideas and creativity into gaming that PlayStation and Xbox steals! Without Nintendo gaming is stale. Grand Theft Auto 6 and Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is going to save gaming on the consoles this generation because Sony ran out of ideas and Xbox checked out!

The Wii U was still a bad console, quit the revisionism. The Switch started off strong for a few years, yet Nintendo got complacent and I don't think the library is as good as people make it out to be. I like the Wii, good memories, but Nintendo died after the GameCube. There's a reason 3rd party developers don't champion Nintendo anymore. If Nintendo didn't have a strong nostalgia base for their first party characters, they would have gone out of business decades ago.

ay ngl youre right, retrospectively, the wii u wasnt bad. i mean, i always liked the wii u but now comparing it to our current generation the wii u is objectively better. like, the ps5 has been out for like 4 years and got no games, except astro bot that came out recently.
