Awesome vid as ever... Gonna have to check out Alianator, never heard of it before, but looks great. One great game beginning with A on the Amiga that I never hear talked about is "Asteroids II v0.92 (1993-03-20)(Seifert, Mike)". An asteroids game were you fight lots of differing enemies, and a big boss on level 6.

Awesome to see public domain games get some more love! Reminds me of Amoeba Invaders, which was just a straight Space Invaders clone, but extremely faithful.

Abuse I think it's a port from the MS-DOS PC where it was released to little fanfare at a time when 2D games were frowned upon. And the Amiga was dead in the water, so it's puzzling that it was even ported in the first place.

Interesting list, as someone else has said Allan Border's Cricket is the same game as Graham Gooch's Cricket, just renamed for Australia. The team behind it would go on to write the Brian Lara games for Codemasters, basically. Aggression wasn't formally released either, there were plans for a CD32 version.

Alienator... That was the name, used to have it back in the days. Played it endlessly, smooth graphics back then. I have forgotten about the name as I was on the look out for it. Then I see your upload and I thought well maybe he put it in there but probably not. And there it was number 2! Thanks for the info I needed, very happy with that.

Nice list m8! some crackers! That Alan Border was better known as Graham Gooch World Class Cricket. Loved a good P&C game, I missed that Altered Destiny, looks good. Alien Bash games are cool, check out the 1st one, it was a coverdisk off The One mag I think? Aggression looks cool but has rage quit written all over it for me, lovely ship animation. Alien Fish Finger! we both know thats a hidden gem right there! Alianator does look great, I loved games like that bitd, deffo gone check it out. I rememeber you sending me that ACSYS demo ages back, pity it was never finished. Didn't realise this was the start of a series, nice

Air Taxi was a fun little game, I did enjoy that a lot. I also liked Graham Gooch's Cricket (the same as Allan Border's with a different name) despite having virtually no fondness for the sport. There are some other interesting games there which I had never heard of (especially Abuse and the Fish Finger one). Aggression has nice graphics but that sort of game never really appealed to me, it would have pleased me a bit in the same way that Stardust did, showing some nice graphical mid-90s effects on the Amiga but not my cup of tea to actually play. Demo disks were a big part of my Amiga life as I was an avid purchaser of the monthly magazines, and there was a PD game whose name I cannot remember, but was tremendous fun for a while for me and my brother. I think it was two player only, and you each controlled a small figure on a single screen which you navigated via platforms. It was all about shooting your opponent, and there were all sorts of weapons, both familiar ones like pistols and shotguns and more fantastical ones. One such weapon was called "Lightbringer", though I cannot remember any other detail about it. My brother and I were impressed with the coolness of it, I think it was one of the most powerful weapons, and that's why I remember the name.

Normally I would suggest Alfabet Smierci, but unfortunately this adventure game is only in polish. For next part of the series I would suggest games: Citadel (FPS), Doman (Golden Axe rip-off), Lost in Mine. Other interesting titles are point & clicks: Skaut Kwatermaster, Teenagent, Kajko i Kokosz, Mentor - unfortunately no english versions.

You should check out the games Tangram, Slamtilt and Aladdin's magic lamp. I spent so much time in Tangram, great music and graphics. Aladdin's magic lamp was a game by new line cinema that is almost completely unknown to most people. Slamtilt was a really good pinball game with AGA graphics, but it came in 1996, pretty much at Amiga's deathbed. Could be the start of an inspiration for a follow-up video :)

@@pnvgordinho Far from it. Since the game came out in 1996, this was way after the Amiga "died". Only the hardcore's were still active. The first Playstation released in 1994, and Quake out on PC in 1996.

I think you could put in the list Alcatraz. Not many people played it and not many people like it, I dont know why. Its a bit short but its amazing. X-Copy? Trading games on the playground?? Why, I'm sure I have no idea what you're talking about, good sir... Alien Bash looks quite a lot smoother than Chaos Engine, though still dropping frames, possibly due to the 50fps thing. I shall have to try that one. I hated that Chaos Engine was so 'jerky', that's how I described it at the time, I had no concept of framerate, I just knew some games were smooth and some were jerky. Even the A1200 and the 16-Bit console ports were jerky.
