The ABCs of Loona Part 5 / Everything you missed in Chuu Heart Attack MV / The Loonaverse explained

This week again I sadly didn't have a lot of time, so there is no chibi persona in this video TT (But I will add them once the I finished the YYXY series)
This is a easy to understand summary of the Loonaverse. Since the Loonaverse Lore is pretty difficult to understand I felt like it would be the best to analyze every MV of Loona one by one. (and because this takes a very long time) I'm making multiple videos explaining the MVs. There will be more Parts of the Loona ABCs, 2 more for Gowon and Olivia Hye and one for YYXY Love4eva and one for Hi High + Butterfly were I will conclude what the Story of the Loonaverse is trying to tell us. I summarize and analyze the story of the Loonaverse that is being told to us, up until the debut of Gowon , by telling you the story of Chuu Heart Attack MV and how Chuu is gaining selfconfidence after Yves keeps on rejecting her. Through this she starts to travel to middle earth and meets Haseul (her mirror members).

Now that you say it, it does feel like a stage play! Even the way the MV changes locations, where they switch over to the next scene, kind of feels like a stage play where they move the set pieces to change to a new scene (7:37 for example). The YYXY members not being reliable narrators really feels underlined by this. It's kind of like Chuu tells this story to a friend and over exaggerated every little detail lol

Several tidbits that I just realized: 1. The subunit in "Carol 2.0" is ViRyVes. In Latin, virives means "vigourous". 2. In "New" and "Heart Attack" MVs, the swan plushie is not actually a swan. It's still a cygnet, baby swan. Maybe, it's indicating that Yves is not matured yet in Eden? 3. In "Heart Attack" MV, Chuu wears a purple dress. The frog in "Kiss Later" also has purple clothes, similar stalker tendency, and getting ignored by the love interest. So, maybe Chuu is the frog? 4. In "Heart Attack" MV, Chuu uses tele lenses to see Yves. However, in photography, you can't use tele lenses to see close objects. And, Chuu's apple is still green too. Maybe, it's symbolizes "immature love" or "I can't see the real you". 5. In "Let Me In", Haseul kills her alter ego, 'boy Haseul'. It's established that the boy in Vivi's memory is actually Yves. Yves wears green in "Carol 2.0" & "New". And, Haseul shows up in "Heart Attack", but Chuu doesn't see her. Does it mean Haseul is the mature/ changed version of Yves? (killing your old self is always metaphors for growing up/ change) 6. There is possibility that Vivi is the mature/ changed version of Chuu. Chuu hasn't eat her strawberry yet. The part when she ate the strawberry is only dream/illusion. She exit Eden without eating her fruit. Maybe that's the reason Vivi's memory is distorted? Idk, other Orbit theorists, what are your opinions?

First of all thanks for sharing all of these ideas! ^^ 1. So the fact that ViRyVes is vigorous is a really interesting easteregg! Like how the OEC members are described as zealous girls to show that they look for love instead of waiting for it (like 1/3) and now this sub unit is vigorous kind of describing how they might be the driving force behind the YYXY members escape from eden. 2. The swan plush being a cygnet to me always seemed like a reference to the ugly duckling, but like everything in the YYXY unit it is flipped on it's head. Like everyone around Yves looks up to her. She is the naturally born leader and is capable of much more then the other members. But actually... she is just as childish as the other members. To think that pressuring someone into doing something is not really mature. She herself needs some help to outgrow her old tendencies (which explains her strong bond to both Vivi and Choerry). I feel like this is kind of underlined by the swan being a symbol for wisdom and self-esteem. Yves just isn't quite there yet, just like the other members (which is also why they wait some more time to exit eden all together and only do it at the end of Love4eva). 3. I definitely thought about the connection of Chuu and the frog, since Chuu and Yves kind of like mirror the frog prince and Yeojin, but honestly I feel like it might be history repeating itself. I theorized about the frog prince being Yves or Choerry (or maybe both of them) and this would make sense to me. Yves has tried to pressure Yeojin into sinning and leaving eden behind, but she never actually was capable to do so. To me Yeojin at the end of her MV almost kissing the frog is a sign that she just does it out of love, but isn't actually ready yet. And now that the roles are reversed Yves realizes that she should not use Chuus love to get her to exit Eden, since this will not be effective and so Chuu get's the chance to mature before leaving eden behind. 4. I like this theory, Chuu not actually being able to see Yves is a really clever idea. She idolizes Yves a lot, so her being unable to see Yves bad sides could feed into Yves ego as well, which would explain why she is so harsh with the other members. After all she saw with Chuu that her harsh tendencies do work out. And Chuu doesn't even see it, which also explains why she goes right back to Yves in the Love4eva MV without actually having learned anything. 5. This is also quite interesting since Haseul and Vivi & Yves and Chuu are connected as well. Haseul is a mother figure to her friends and Yves is a twisted version of this. And in Yves case it does feel like she might be using people to her own advantage so this would make sense. A mature person would not act like Yves, but more so like Haseul. 6. I definitely feel like Vivi having lost her memories is because of her not exiting eden the right way. And maybe this has to do with Yves? Like maybe Vivi was manipulated into exiting prematurely like Chuu and then her mind got separated from her body, because she didn't actually want to leave eden.

@@florastel For additions: 1. Vivi and Yves combination can be named 'vives' which means 'you will be alive' in Latin. "Carol 2.0" sub-unit could also be named 'viveri' which means "food" in Italian. Idk, it seems to relate to "Love & Live" also the girls need to eat fruits to be free. Also, Choerry doesn't even come from Eden. Why does she get power when she ate a fruit? And, Jinsol gave the cherry to her? Your other video said Jinsoul represents darkness. So, it does remind me of Hades & Persephone or the snake in the Bible. 2. In the Bible story, the snake offered Eve/Eva the forbidden fruit then caused her and Adam to be kicked out from Eden. However, in "Heart Attack", Chuu is the one that initially offered a fruit to Yves, but got ignored. Yves ate the apple by her own choice then got Gowon (which represents Adam) to eat the pineapple. So, maybe it symbolizes Yves got her free will? Maybe Gowon is still bounded to Eden (Gowon looks back to Hyejoo when leaving Eden) because she still does the same thing in the original story (which is Adam trusting Eve)? Furthermore, Gowon looking back at Hyejoo reminds me of Orpheus & Eurydice story. JJ loves Greek mythology. Maybe, every reference to any Greek myths means something in Loonaverse. Another observation, Yves aka Eve has apple as representative fruit and Gowon has pineapple. The root word for 'pine' in old German 'peinen' means 'experiencing pain' (your location is in German, correct me if I am wrong) and in Latin 'poena' means 'punishment'. There is a possibility that Gowon doesn't want to leave Eden at all. 3. I think Yeojin represents 'the Messiah/Jesus' because of three men bearing gifts and she was expected to kiss a frog (reference to folktale "The Princess and the Frog"). So, if Yves is the one pressuring Yeojin and if we reference back to the Bible story where Jesus was tempted by the Devil, then Yves is the Devil? Or, maybe Chuu is the Devil because she was forcing green apples to Yves? How about Jinsoul? She is representation of darkness too. Is Jinsoul the Devil? 4. Agreed 5. Agreed 6. Vivi's story line reminds me of 'Pinnochio'. To be human, Pinnochio learns to love. In "Love & Live", Vivi exhausted her superpower and became human. What or who Vivi loves? Yves or the whole 1/3? Oh, have you done Loona color theory video? I also have some hypothesis regarding OEC's true colors.

I'm sorry for the long answer TT 2. I do have a theory on the connections of the bible and the Loonaverse, but I guess it will take some time until I can post something about it. I think Yves fruit being an apple and Olivia Hyes being a blood plum has some meaning to it as well. I thought about Yves being a false prophet. In the Bible it's never stated what fruit Adam and Eve eat, so maybe Yves is just blinding people by acting like a prophet. She falsely frees people that do not want to be freed, she makes everyone follow her orders and makes the other members her disciples. She sometimes is kind of seen as a Jesus figure, but something that is really important about Jesus was his suffering. He freed all of mankind with his death. So Olivia Hye staying behind. And her suffering all alone feels like a strong reference to her not actually being evil, but she is said to be evil by others (like Jesus was portrait as evil when he was still alive). Also I believe that OEC are a reference to the holy trinity. Kim lip formed middle earth with her eclipse where she combines Jinsouls night and Choerrys day (in German folk lore there is the story of the sun and moon being in love and when an eclipse happens they meet up and kiss each other, so day and night form a unity together). And OEC is needed to help the YYXY members to exit Eden. They are the first sign that there is no good without evil, no day without night and so on... When Jinsoul appears in Olivia Hyes MV and has cans with plums I feel like Jinsoul references her own story. She is the night, so she is seen as evil, while she isn't. And Olivia Hye is in a similar situation her assigned emotion is anger, which is falsely seen as evil, while it's not. This duality is really important to YYXY in general. Yves has faith, but she has to much faith in herself, she needs the other members help, but is blinded by her believes. Chuu is in love, but is so in love that she becomes obsessed. When her feelings are not reciprocated she becomes heart broken. Gowon has hope, but especially in the beginning of her story, she has to much hope in other people making things right, so that she becomes scared of involving herself in the situation. And finally Olivia Hye, while her emotion is typically seen as something bad, she actually is the only one that used it in a good way. She becomes her own true self, and changes her life around because she opened her eyes to the horrors of Eden and became furious. So about “peinen” it can be seen as “something that causes someone great physical or mental discomfort, something that torments them”. Also I feel like the pine apple is a reference to Gowon being kind of like a fake apple, while Yves, Chuu and Olivia Hye have rose family fruits assigned to them. (it has apple in the name, but is the furthest from it. Gowon is a X while the others are Y's). 3. Yeojin is definitely special when it comes to the Loonaverse, I heard someone theorize about Yeojin being the girl in Eden that then is split up into the YYXY members. In the teaser for YYXY there is the “thou art me, I am thou” line that made people believe, that the members are just parts of one person. Since they only have 1 emotion assigned to them each this would also make a lot of sense lol 6. I feel like Vivi starts to love herself. Maybe a little cheeky, but what if what made Vivi an android on earth was the fact that she didn't already love herself when she exited Eden? The other members left after they had build up their self love, this is also stated in the descriptions for their Mvs. And her finally accepting her new live, just for her to get back her humanity is kind of cute. Like you only get what you want when you least expect it haha And your ideas are really interesting, so I feel like I should look into greek myths some more. ^^ Also I havn't done a color theory yet, but I'm on it! I feel like there is just so much there to uncover. (Like Yeojins intro animation being blue and yellow combined making green, which is Haseuls color. And Haseuls red and yellow intro making orange which is Yeojins color o.O)

I have a question, when in Heart Attack MV, the time when the clock shows 5:24 you said the fifth member is Kim Lip, but actually the fifth member is ViVi , but it might not show enough why 🤔

Yeah, your right! I kind of ment to say that this is about Kim lip, since she is the next number after five (since it is past five, so before six). So Vivi is unable to move through realms since Kim lips hasn't yet connected earth and eden, but after this, so at 6 o'clock Yves becomes able to travel through realms in her body instead of leaving her body behind in eden. I'm really sorry I definitely should have corrected this. Thanks for letting me know! ^^

@@lacacaconoloratrebol858 I've never been described as a teacher before haha😅 But I started getting into literature and media analyses, because of KZbinrs, so I'm happy that I can teach you something interesting as well!👍 And about the noticing of details... well I go through the MVs for like 10 times and then I go frame by frame, so yeah I notice stuff, since I'm looking at everything. And when I finally feel like I lost my mind, then the analyses is perfect lol😂
