I bought 5 of the Sig ROMEO5 on REPTILLA 1.93 mount for $175 each about 4 years ago . I have little over 40k rounds in total thru those OPTICS. The actual Sig mount sucks but the optic is solid. Highly recommend REPTILLA mount .

I got a primary arms as well, I think its the MD20, micro push button rds, its basically their version of a t2 or romeo5, I got it as a placeholder intending to upgrade, haven't upgraded yet, still running great, on the first battery and I leave it on max brightness, shake awake works really well, I shoot about once every two months on a 300BO SBR outdoors and I don't baby it so it gets some wear, but I haven't really beat the shit out of it either, zero hasn't shifted even with the primary arms mount.

I put one on a unity riser and it fits pretty nicely. Little tiny bit of overhang. I've put a few thousand rounds of AK and AR through it. Works great still. I don't remember ever needing to rezero it. Left it under a couple feet of water overnight. No leaks. It's taken at least three hard knocks and survived. Biggest complaint is no lense covers like the msr model has. It would be much cooler if it did.

Romeo5 was my second red dot for my AK. After less than 100 rounds, it started fucking up. Dot would either not come on, or not come in full strength. Eventually stopped coming on altogether. The first one I ever got stopped too. Will never waste money on another one. Got a PA slx 3x microprism. Miss the 1x but I will never trust a battery again. Just the fact that it's even a possibility it could stop on you makes it a no go. If it was something that basically would never happen, it'd be different.

Dude I ran the battery my first Romeo 5 came with for 3 years and the only reason I changed it was because I started getting paranoid. I shot the gun it was on every weekend and did lots of dry fire too. The Romeo 5 is legit. My understanding is the only real downsides are that the elevation knob is unguarded and also it apparently sucks for passive aiming but 99% of guys who own guns do not shoot under nods. Also I guess the mount isn't ideal but tbh I never had issues with mine. I eventually got a Unity mount on sale and tried that for a while and it was funny cuz even on sale the Unity mount was more expensive than the whole optic. They got a new version of the Romeo 5 coming out now, it looks pretty nice. I have a 4xt Pro and ironically I had to RMA the first one because the batteries kept dying after ~30 days and its supposed to have 50,000hr battery life. The replacement they sent me is much better in a few ways. The adjustment knobs are far more tactile and actually click when you turn them. The first one had mushy adjustment knobs. It cost waaaaaaaaaaay more than the Romeo 5, its like $480 or something and ironically I never had problems with the cheapo red dot but I did with the whiz-bang fancy optic that everyone on KZbin said was better than an Aimpoint T2. Check your stuff guys, just cuz its supposed to be the best doesn't mean it is the best.

I could tell the AimPoint inspiration pretty easily on the Romeo7/7S. I think they're made at the same factory as Holosun, with the same standards, so it should be a quality optic. I am probably going to pick up a Ruger mk4 or 10/22 for a silenced camping plinker, and I likely will run a Romeo 5 on whichever i go with because I’ve never heard anything bad about them, besides being out preformed by high end red dots, but obviously that’s the case
