The album that started my appreciation for black metal……first was Hypocrisy’s Osculum Obscenum!! Pure evil Death Metal with some black metal influences….Then this masterpiece of pure black metal mastery!!!! 🤘💀🤘

Osculum Obscenum is brilliant. Also one of my favorites. Pleasure of Molestation is a song I heard a thousand times. The Abyss is also phenomenal. Class act musicians.

@@TotalDarknessPromotions I can still remember when I first bought Osculum Obscenum on cassette even!! And how blown away I was at its evil atmosphere and brutality!! I thought Deicide’s Legion album was the pinnacle till that moment!! Then after hearing The Abyss album I dove headfirst into Black Metal and started ordering that first Marduk album, Immortal’s Pure Holocaust, Dissection’s The Somberlain, etc., etc., from Nuclear Blast Records mail order!! Great times the mid 90’s where for music discovery for me!!! 🔥🤘💀🤘🔥
