a little narrative to story: Lisa was indeed succesor, but after her master death, she decided it's too dangerous (that's why she said in about Mona voiceline "The idea of Irminsul exploration and formal tea parties just leaves me cold." almost like it gives her bad memories), so stayed on her own "duty" in Mondstadt, with goal of protecting city of freedom and have her own "succesors" who she helps achieve greatness (like Razor)

Cyno 2nd Story Quest sort of implies that Lisa may have been part of the Akademya's version of the Temple of Silence which was in charge of policing forbidden knowledge.... Although it is still possible that Lisa is part of Hexenzirkel, she may not have a seat, she may be an executor of sort responsible for caring for future successor Klee. My theory is that Lisa is the Librarian in Mondstat to protect Klee from forbidden knowledge or corruption.

6:45 It's worth pointing out that there was a small event involving Klee, Lisa and the board game about dodoco blowing up fish not so long ago. And as far as I remember, Lisa has written a story book adaptation of that game for Klee, which can be found in our inventory now, (but I need to check on that last bit) so she's something of an author herself, which is a +1 to your theory. UPD: I also want to point out that the event was one of the odd ones. It was really small and lasted only for 7 days. And yet, it was fully voiced, had some sort of a story, some additional characterization for Lisa and all that. It's almost like they went out of their way for the whole thing, but this is a bit of a stretch

i remember the Dodoco adventures book by Lisa. yeah it come out very strange at a strange time too. but i didnt pay much attention cos u know i do it for freemogems and Klee event is always fun. the story book tells kinda a weird story, some kind of Klee is not from tevyat. i only remember it vaguely. correct me if im wrong

​@@F1ll1nTh3BlanksIt is true. However, the event was in early October and Klee's rerun was during the Summer event alongside Eula at least two months prior to that, so it was rather random. I speculate that the minigame of that event had been a part of another event, (maybe even the summer event) which was cut out and then developed into its own thing.

@steppedwellerUA To add more to this: there’s also the traveling merchant Jala who released the invasive fish into Cider Lake. 1. She tells the story of how an Akademiya student leaving Sumeru suddenly simply gave her the Shroomsplosion game she had invented (Lisa did tell Traveler and Paimon that DBA was based off of Shroomsplosion but Not that she invented it) freely, and changed her from Junk Dealer to Traveling Merchant. 2) Strangely, Jala Couldn’t Remember if it was a few years or a Decade ago when her fortune changed. Surely such a life changing moment wouldn’t be forgotten so easily. She ends by stating how “Time flies.” 3. If Traveler and Paimon turn Jala in to the Knights of Favonius, she is taken to KoF HQ and fined with a warning, and even visited the library yet she did not recognize Lisa at all. Yeah. Lisa the Witch of the Purple Rose aka The Witch of Divine Secrets.

And some players think mondstadt is the weakest nation😂 majority of hexenzirkel's successors are in mondstadt: albedo, klee, mona, and in theory lisa. It is also canon that most of the characters from mondstadt can do "one man army" like diluc, noelle, amber, kaeya, rosalia, eula, etc.😂 and also fischl which is canonically one of the best intelligence in mondstadt adventurer's guild. Then there's also Varka which is rumored that can go toe to toe with some of the harbingers.

One of the reasons Mondstadt doesn't get invaded a lot despite being a tiny nation is because of Varka. He's probably a one man army and is the second strongest mortal in Teyvat only second to Il Capitano.

This is a good theory however Lisa has a line about it that I think proves this is wrong: About Mona: As for Mona? She seems to be an excellent mage, but I’m not a part of their Hexenzirkel. The idea of Irminsul exploration and formal tea parties just leaves me cold.

we havent seen varka too. it said his strength is as much as capitano the 1st harbinger but second in the organization. monstadt has those really poweful character but are away when we first time in monstadt, even alice has to left her home and klee cos of tevyat border is somewhat weakening she said.

I think the connections are pretty interesting and you're definitely onto something. However, I feel that a constant throughout the entire Genshin Impact narrative style, is that the characters and lore almost never lie, but instead withhold information or hide the truth in riddles. I can hardly recall instances in which the game told us something, only for it to be entirely false. It's usually rather that it leads us to certain conclusions, which are eventually turned around by new revelations, but the truth in hindsight had always been there (even outright lies like Furina claiming to be an archon are in the end truths in a sense). I think Lisa's statement of her not being part of the Hexenzirkel is definitely true, but that doesn't necessarily negate the fact that she may share some other deeper connection to them or to a specific member.

I can think of one but it's probably because they changed their mind: how Zhongli's goodbye with Guizhong went. I think it's Memories of Dust that says they had the time to say a goodbye of sorts while the last LL had a cutscene showing she died when he was absent.

If a goodbye like this took place, the rush and pace of the moment would probably be captured differently. And Morax is present with the late commers, not far from them, hinting that everything was last minute, rushed effort.

Morax stands with Cloud Retainer and others so the picture "says" he arrived with them and the seeling took place in the last second, in a rush. I actually believe that Rhinedottir is a dragon or draconic. This is because Hoyoverse shows her teacup shaped as a dragon in the Hexenzirkle cinematic. Watch it again and pay attention to the design of Rhinedottirs cup. There is also the fact that she creates dragons Durin as well as heavily suspected to give Elynas a soul as well. If she is the mother of the dragons, those would in theory be her children.

Apep mentions "status quo" now it is possible that she is just a spirit of her former self sort of the "dream version" of herself and that is what she is referring to. She is frustrated with Buer(Nahida) because she seems to have no recollection of what transpired. "Foolish Buer you have not lived for a fraction of what you call time" Genshin has a theme of things fracturing as well as diminishing. Gouba the theory of Paimon being fished up as a diminshed Primordial one etc. I think humans and dragons has a much closer connection to each other the connection will be revealed in Khaenri'ah and the forbidden art of Khemia because it threaten to expose "the gods" for being usurpers. If humans can learn to create life, what is so divine with Celestia?

@@TheGamerChronicles999 the key lies in what Skirk says. Skirk is not influenced by Irminsul her mind is therefore not controlled by something exterior. Unlike the Archons for instance. As far as we know we are the first person talking to someone beyond the firnament. "Everything shall turn to curses" she is referring to that death is not the end in this world. The second key is Apeps mushrooms pointing out that form holds no real value. That quest is put there to prepare us for the leap between dragons and humans. Apep talking to Buer now has another meaning more of a mother talking to her child in disappointment. - Help me mother help me understand" No daughter you are to young and foolish within time you will come to learn the truth growing up. I don't trust Dainsleif yet I think he has an agenda. Khaenri'ahns tried to achieve immortality to show that gods are not superior to humans. The Irony is that Celestia granted their wish and ever since then they wander around half mad. I think Dainsleif got the message. He is now trying to protect status quo rather than try to alter it. He will very likely confront us after gathering all evidence that we bear responsibility for Khaenri'ah not him. Which is what I believe he is doing.

Hehe I like this theory. It's been a long time since I've come across a video talking about Lisa. I definitely doubt the Mondstadt journey is over cause it's too shrouded in Mystery. Venti doesn't even have his second story quest yet and all Archons do, well except for the Fontaine one. It's still vague whether it'll be Furina or Neuvillette that'll get a second story quest. I hope to see her in action again. Please Hoyoverse let us see the True Witch of Purple Rose. 💜

I don't think Lisa would lie to the Traveler. That's the main problem and I think it's a big one. Now that does rule out membership but you could say she's connected without being a member. As far as a successor to M goes the best fit, far and away, and really the only choice, would be Fischl. Fischl has an entire event about how she's an author who's imagination is so powerful that it creates worlds so.... if you want a successor to an author of children's books there's that. But I don't think Fischl is either. Maybe in the future but I don't think the Hexenzirkel is a major player in the game narrative.

So basically If they were a Witch / Mage hat there is a Reason for it besides just good pretty character design. Thou just like in the cutscene I also want to meet Alice i’m curious what she looks like. Given her voice and personality i picture a combination between Klee & Lisa. But i like Alice’s personality, i’m curious about what she looks like, Also i would love to have Alice as a playable character. Even if she is just a pyro Lisa in game play. But hell Alice could be the Pyro archon for all we know. That would be a interesting development. Or maybe we will just finally catch up to her and randomly run into her on our journey. Were Aether & Paimon won’t recognize her immediately but recognize her voice from Somewhere, but be unclear were till it clicks.

this is the definition of reading into things too much, genshins writing is notoriously bad, but not so much so theyd give a 4 star a "secret identity" befitting a 5 star. consider the members of the hexenzirkel we know of, mona is a successor / apprentice and is a 5 star, yet all shes good at canonically is astrology and movement based magic. I think lisa only has a seat at the table of the hexenzirkel in the same way a friends family may say "you always have a place here" if youre close with them. Lisas master may indeed have been powerful but i highly doubt theyd fumble the story so drastically. if mona came out before lisa itd be understandable, but they both launched with the game.

@@The_original_one i do, but that doesnt mean he will have significance in the story its not like 2 years from now we will have kaeya as some powerful enemy to face and have him playable as a 4 star, it just wouldnt make any sense and just like how lisa would have a seat at the hexenzirkel if she trained, she doesnt, and therefore isnt strong enough to be a fully fledged member consider that the people we know of in the hexenzirkel, truly powerful people, albedos creator, alice, skirks master? i mean really, skirk is potentially one of the most powerful people we have met in the story up until now and she isnt a member of the hexenzirkel despite having association via her own master, skirk is strong enough to have her own student in childe who is incredibly strong in his own right, being a fatui harbinger and all, yet she practically folded him like a lawn chair and casually threw him like he was nothing lisa by comparison to all these powerful figures, itd be like giving diluc a seat at the hexenzirkel simply for his little vigilantee arc

@@The_original_one having cool links to the core story does not equal story or end game significance theres a lot of characters like that in the story that we know for a fact wont be developed in that way. Klee for example is alice's daughter, but obviously were not going to see klee grow up in the story and see her grow stronger etc, she is just klee and she has a cool relation to someone who has story significance lisa exists as a cool lore reference to the hexenzirkel from early game and kaeya exists in the same way to be a cool early reference to khaenri'ah and the abyss order, such characters only exist to make the story feel as though it flows more going back to my first comment, a 4 star isnt going to be given end game significance, the closest youll get is with someone like ningguang who had significance in the liyue endgame, but hasnt shown up since because she played her role
