Say what you will about the show itself but they nailed the build up to The Master. Mae finds Kelnacca dead as night falls. Sol senses something and they see something floating to the ground. The Master slowly approaches them and without saying a word. Osha is scared as The Master stands inches from Osha. He ignites the saber, briefly tricking the audience that he killed her, then throws Osha with the force by barely moving his hand. The Jedi charge and pushes all the Jedi back. Perfect introduction. The Sith or whatever he is was genuinely creepy and great cliffhanger.

My theory is that "Darth Teeth" is Koril, and Qimir is Koril's master. My guess is that the Jedi and the twins will defeat "Darth Teeth", with at least Mae dying in the process. Then, they find out it's Koril. But they already know Koril is a witch, so they don't suspect she's a Sith. (And Mae is no longer alive, so they don't find out about the obviously Sith teachings.) This would explain why Ki-Adi-Mundi is unconvinced by Qui-Gon that another Zabrak wielding a light saber is necessarily a Sith Lord.

@@seangargan Yeah, could be. I'm mainly sticking to my Qimir guess because it's more fun for me to ponder, rather than whatever I feel is most likely. I long ago gave up on the idea of predicting things "correctly". It's more fun, to me, to ponder theories that could fit what I've seen so far - even if they're too bonkers to be likely. For example, I just came up with an idea that Qimir could be Darth Plagueis, based on an underutilized thing in Attack of the Clones. In AotC, there was a shapeshifter assassin associated with the Kaminoans, but they didn't really do anything with her. What if Qimir is a shapeshifter? He could use his human-like Qimir persona to wander the galaxy unnoticed, and he take on a Muun persona for wealth and influence. It would be easy to murder a Muun and take over his identity. And having lots of money can make all sorts of ambitious Sith projects easier to accomplish.

@@seangargan Wow, episode 5 was really incredible. It's interesting and weird that Qimir says he has no name. And it's weird that he seems not entirely sure whether or not he should be called a Sith. I feel like that's something the Sith Master or Sith Apprentice would be certain about. Of course, he could just be messing with Sol saying that. Given the sorts of wild plot twists they've thrown at us, I'm not going to rule out the possibility that Qimir is a shape-shifter ... possibly is both Qimir and Koril. I mean, Qimir says to Sol, "You don't remember me?" ... That seems really weird to say if Sol has only met him once, randomly. Okay, I'm going to make this bonkers Qimir = Koril theory my whole personality. The last few days, my whole personality was Dearth Teeth = 3 Bazils in a Trenchcoat.

Mae hunted, attacked and MURDERS two Jedi for burning down a temple that SHE sets light to. She then decides to switch sides. Sol IS acting suspiciously, but only because Leslye Headland, the Rape Enabler wants him to. Her entire goal here is to diminish the Jedi (especially the men), and elevate the Sith. Have you SEEN Star Wars? Bob Iger once said that we would accept anything with the Star Wars name slapped on it. I guess he was right!

Theory two Sith in same Mask. One Qumir the other Indara. Indara gave the mission to fake her death and test her two acolytes but when Mae betrayed Qimir Indara killed Kalnaka why else is he sitting without putting up a fight because he recognized his killer it was a friend. Oh yeah Indara is actually the apprentice to either Tenerbaus or Plageus

I swear to you, this series is set just before Knights of the Old Republic and at the end of Acolyte 1st episode and the one at the end of this episode as well that this is Malak even the voice sounds like him which means Reven has a role in this before Reven loses their memory and becomes a Jedi. I also remember that while Zaalbar was on Kashyyk there were a bunch of Sith ACOLYTES I had to fight in the game. And Kathleen Kennedy has always been sharing into a KOTOR movie, I have a good strong feeling this is the build up to that very game in story and the live action movie. Who knows we may see that live action Mission Vao after all.

Other people think this breaks canon with the prequels, but I have a theory. Lower tier Jedi kept this hidden from the council. We don't know if ALL the Jedi at the time thought "the Sith have been extinct for a millennium". Or it could be an ego thing. They refuse to believe Sith exist under their noses. The way the Jedi call people civilian annoys me too, lol. Mace did it in TCW S7 too. Me after the sudden ending: how can they do this? This is outrageous. It's unfair! I don't understand the dislikes here.

Reasons I think the Sith is Vernestra: The person's build. Vernestra is tall and thin, as is the Sith. The helmet the Sith is wearing is strangely comparable to Vernestra's head-shape. When you froze the picture to look at Ver...the Sith's arm, it appeared to me to have green skin. Of course, as I often am, I may well be wrong. It will be nice to be surprised if I am.
