The Saguaro you thought was a creosote is actually what is called a Crested (Cristate) Saguaro. There are 2,200 of them that have been found and charted. A creosote is essentially a bush/shrub.

I was close for pulling that info out of my brain in the middle of the desert! 🤣 That actual cactus right there I probably passed 10 times in the past and never even noticed it was there . It's right off the trail and it blends in so easily when you're flying by

I just retired from the company I ran for 26 years that specializes in transplanting desert trees, Saguaros, cacti and shrubs. Great video and having ridden enduro bikes for many years, I can’t imagine wrestling an adventure bike over anything but blacktop.

What I realized pretty quickly when I moved to AZ is some of those "grampas" are very experienced desert riders that know the AZ desert like their back yard. Never underestimate the graybeards out there.

@@ChrisAbeytaTV these routes specifically can be done year-round. It goes in the low desert and in the high country. There's different routes I take different parts of the year based on Weather. And I've done these routes on my 890 before. Very few people can manage a big bike on these particular routes. But if they are on that 890 there are some of the harder routes I can take out and make it easier

@@JasonRidesmoto Sedona if you want a good variety of terrain, or superstition Mountains if you want more rocky and rugged the whole time Either option you can do a two day version or three day version. Three day really gets the full immersive experience. Especially Sedona. On three Day Sedona there's time to really hang out in and around Sedona and not have to rush all the way up there and turn around and rush all the way back down the Phoenix on just a two day. And three days give time to go kayaking part of the day which is a good swimming cool down reset You can book them all online through our website under overnight expeditions, or you can text me privately to set them up Beau 602-425-7720

@@bprice545 thank you! I can take you on tour on your own bike. But as far as buying the routes, I don't have that built yet to sale. I don't even take the same route each time. There's a lot of variables based on which route we take based on you and your capabilities. I build it on the fly as we're out riding and I read your abilities and adjust the trails in the distance Someday I might build and sell GPX files though. But that's another project for another day
