This whole album is a fun, raucous metal masterpiece. This band is incredible. Alissa has so much talent which is showcased in The Agonist. This was a heavy, fast, really hard, really cutting-sounding wicked-great era in metal -/ and this was some of the best stuff From that era - And it stands the test of time as well. I also really enjoy the chaotic clean/distorted vocal switching and the constant changing of time-signatures and guitar/bass sounds!

@GEORGENOFEAR most of what she uses are vocal fry screams and death growls/grunts. In the song ''...and Their Eulogies Sang Me to Sleep'' she does have a pig squeal at the end of the song, but that's basically the only example of her using a pig squeal, she is a very talented vocalist, to be a mezzosoprano and be able to scream and grunt is amazing *___*
