They did a great job on the Air Raid Cafe. I hate ladder and heights except parasailing and sky driving.Feel honoured I’m having a bit of screen time a day after corneal transplant 17:23 and it’s watching you. lol take care.

Great job on the painting, it sure refreshed that area. In one of the homes we bought, the stairs going to the basement were painted, and then had a jute runner.. and that runner was a beast. In the summer, we removed it, laid it out on the drive, and spray washed it. Hung it to dry over the saw horse, and in no time it was dry in the sun. While it was drying, I did a quick paint touch up on the stairs.

I've been peeled to the news about the wildfires in the L.A-Area. So very sad... it's heartbreaking. 💔 I love the plates that your breakfast came on. Churchills voice.... a voice that most everyone recognizes. Such an amazing cafe, so many memorabilia. We have a British shop/tearoom here in town that is owned/operated by a lady from England. The vintage stuff she has is amazing. I love snooping around then having tea and goodies. Oh goodness... seeing that ladder gave me a flashback of seeing ours go sideways, with hubby attached, as I looked out of the kitchen window. I hate ladders myself. ha

Yes i have been in that cafe before when it was in a different location to that. I honestly haven't been in it since it has moved but will have to go along and see it as it does look good there. You were brave up that ladder painting, I do like the results though. It is amazing what just a quick go of paint can do, it makes things look so different. Well done Super Pip you saved the day once more. Plus how can you walk around in shorts when its this cold?

@NiceCakeMix it was the only old clothes I could find. 😆 Yeah we enjoyed the cafe in its old location too, but this is next level. Foods still great!

Cafe was brilliant. But i don't think i fancy eating in there, its a bit to cluttered. How come you didn't use a roller on the paintwork, it would have been a lot apart 🤔 x

I love the idea of the different themed areas. Like eating at the dining table of the 1940's kitchen. Or in the train carriage. I did use a roller. But you need to use a brush to cut in at the edges!
