I love that the Deathwatch Marines were fooled by _multiple_ weak, panicked attempts at keeping them from grabbing Fumbles. And Tink claiming his drone controller was a dataslate. Either they're amusingly dense (and with all those bone genemods, that's unsurprising) or the party has gotten to be pretty dang good at deception. Shame the Inquisitor is even better at seeing through it.

The Lamenter is at least chummy. Saying a Black Templar is little more then grumpiness and angst incarnate thrown into power armor is like saying rain is also wet.

Each marine really exemplifies their Chapter: • Heart Marine: Lamenters Chapter. The nicest marines in 40k (maybe tied with Salamanders), and the ones who get shat on the most. Their bad luck borders on a curse. Nearly wiped out, but always willing to risk their lives for civilians. Fan favorites. • Grumpy: Black Templars Chapter. Absolute dick bags who hate psykers (and everyone, really) and don’t give a shit about civilian casualties. Favorites of completely different fans. • Apothecary: Marines Errant. Traveling, notably flexible & undeniably heroic, good at rolling with the punches. Somewhat “sensible marines” who focus on what IRL marines do-boarding actions. Mostly wiped out, unfortunately. Should get more love.
