The new Porsche 911 Cabriolet echoes the modern lines of the Coupé, though it remains unmistakably a Porsche 911 in Cabriolet form. The soft top can be opened or closed at speeds up to 50 km/h. New roof hydraulics reduce opening time to around twelve seconds, while an electrically extendable wind deflector ensures that necks are shielded from wind impact.

Let's face it; the 911 has always been ugly in cabriolet form. Since it has no room to spare on top of the engine in the back, the stored soft top makes the car looks like a hunchback. In contrast, the Boxster/718 is so much better looking with the top down; they're simply elegant with lines that flow naturally from front to rear. Don't get me wrong; I like the 911 very much and i drive a GT variant myself, but these cabs are fugly.
