I just installed this Q1000 and your comments about the set up being a little clunking are very valid. I have installed close to a dozen TW cameras, for some reason this one would not except the default PSWD and it would not allow connection to its internal WiFi. Resets and power cycles did nothing. Images are great its just a little finicky to set up and that's because the firmware needs to be better refined.

So this one or the Nextbase 622? What are your thoughts? I like the speed camera warning…but at the end of the day. I’m concerned about image quality and notification of someone near my vehicle.

Is the mount compatible with the q800 pro, I wish they would make this compatible with the multiplexer. I am currently running my original q800 pro and thinkware f200 pro with the multiplexer and 2 side cameras, internal IR. Both running off the same Celllink-Neo for parking mode. (I get about 8 if both are on otherwise 22 hours for q800 pro or 10 hours just for the 5 channel set up). Just don't want to give up the 2k. I can see the difference when comparing video of the same time frame.

Wouldn’t you clean your vehicle before doing a video with it in it? Your vehicle looks filthy.

Drove on the highway for 4 hours and cleaned the windshield for the camera by hand multiple times to ensure it was unobstructed. ✌🏼 Also the cabin footage was to illustrate the dash cam’s mounting location not the aftermath of inclement weather. Sorry it upsets you but I assure you the camera footage was not impeded.

@@Donslife no worries! I’m just not a fan of the wraps on vehicles. Such a pretty machine as it is without them. You do you and I will continue to watch your your videos for upgrades that I might do based on your experience.
