Really enjoying my blanket. Comfy at freezing temp last night. Can't wait to try 20's and below. Lower than 10 Fahrenheit, my Queen gets to make room in her bed. Planning to purchase the poncho, fleece and tarp soon. So much stuff on my wish list, all vetted by my hero Perry...

Haha, thanks Larry. Glad it's working well for you.

Where everything s so lightweight and versatile I could easily see having two ponchos, two fleese's and a tarp. A comfortable cocoon .When out in the winter you have to plan on having the necessary gear to be safe and comfortable. Thanks Perry.

Yeah, I was looking for more information on your products, & showing it in your Wilderness, is an added bonus. I’ve gotten enough Boy Scout sized equipment , for my wife, but this looks like the place for me. I’m new to your site, & still not sure what the poncho hammock system is all about, or if I need it. But like your quality! Looking will probably cost me!😲
@hans-jurgenwiegand31035 жыл бұрын
Ok, finally got my fleece liner, it blows the competition away. I have other brands, but they are more child sized, than adult size. I’ve tested the other brands, but was left less than impressed. This is the “Gold Standard “, as far as I’m concerned. Now I’m really excited about the other products I’ve ordered. Great quality so far! Thank you very much for this kind of quality! I guess you could call me a Great Fan of your Company.

Nice camera work. What camera did you use to get that close to the water. Nice shots. Nice setup with that hammock. Fleece overtop the hammock works nice, especially when super cold out..not freeze face as bad--a bit of a buffer.
@wildernessinnovation3 жыл бұрын
That was a GoPro Hero4 with a Sennheiser waterproof mic. I like something over my head when it's really cold, it makes sleeping so easy. We don't have the fleece liner any more, we now have what we call the Osni liner, much lighter, more compact and warmer.

Gene Carrie yes I can do a special order fleece poncho liner for you. We can still do most everything we have always done we are streamlining the web page to the most popular items. Are you looking for a camo color for a poncho? Just let me know what you want and I’ll tell you if we can do it. You can use the chat box on our web page to communicate if you want, thanks Perry

Perry, as I was watching this, I thought that a good idea would be to make the center snaps red on all products. That way when you are adding in the Fleece poncho or Onsni you know exactly where to start on either side. I know you guys have thought of everything under the sun, But I have one of your first models with the fleece liner and I know it would help me. As a matter of fact, I am going to take some red fingernail polish and do that to mine as soon as possible.
@LarryVickery6 жыл бұрын
I had the fingernail polish solution on the tip of my tongue before I read the last sentence.

I have sewn a patch on some of mine at the center, fleeces, etc. I didn't know if anyone else would like it.

Now there’s some water you don’t want to fall into. I’ve tried many of those hammock configurations with liner and second poncho. Also with the liner and a All Weather Emergency Blanket on the outside. I’ve tried the emergency blanket over top on the ridge line, but EB is 5 x 7 so it’s a little short. Favourite so far with including an emergency blanket is.. poncho hammock with fleece liner on outside, EB on outside of that with a second poncho overtop on a ridge line.

I am looking forward to your Dyneema products (formerly Cuben Fiber). And I hope you find a manufacturer that will apply an aluminum reflective coating to your tarps/poncho. It would really add to your products ability to perform!

Perry, I know that I am late to the game on this video, but is there a way to get snaps put on the survival blanket?
@wildernessinnovation6 жыл бұрын
Absolutely we can do that, just let us know, commonly people may want us to match the snap pattern for the Ponchos, so they can snap a blanket into a hammock. Cost $25, you can just order then let us know by email and we'll balance up with you later. Thanks for asking.
@bovdogsandthewoods2 жыл бұрын
Where you get that fleece?
@wildernessinnovation2 жыл бұрын
We used to make our poncho liners from fleece, ours was from Polartec. Eventually we changed up our poncho liners to the Osni series you see on our website now. they are lighter, compress a lot more, and are warmer. You choose the colors or camo you want, choose what weight insulation (Climashield) you want and we make it for you.

Where do I find weights for your outstanding gear?

Many are on the website, but we offer so many variations of our gear it's hard to list them all. Fleece Liners are 2 - 3 pounds, depending on size and fabric choice. Email to info@wildernessinnovation.com for more info. Thanks !!
