Best written show since Breaking Bad wrapped. It's criminal how few people watch The Americans.

A lot of people either can't be patient with slowburn storytelling narrative and or can't be open to seeing the Cold War through gray lens instead of the usual black and white.

Great review, awesome that you guys got Kelly Aucoin on the show. I agree that Paige is starting to become more of a spy, I think her scenes with Pastor Tim were a sign of that. I'm definitely glad that they didn't wrap up the Pastor Tim storyline and I'm glad Paige is seemingly on board despite messing up a couple times.

Some of the exteriors are shot the Brooklyn neighborhood of Ditmas Park. It's in between Coney Island Avenue and Ocean Avenue in the Flatbush section. I was born, raised and still live nearby there. It's west of Prospect Park in the historic section also called Flatbush Malls.

Good to see you Kelly Aucoin! Agreed with the comment on the hair, whenever I'm not watching the episode my imagination blows it up to Sideshow Bob levels. :D

Love the use of "Under Pressure" for the final scene in "World's Greatest Dad" (2009) with Robin WIlliams. More poignant to watch that now. Great review!

Good review, sometimes having guests on can be awkward, but Kelly was really cool.

How about Trivial Pursuit? How much fun would it be to have Stan and Phillip play, and Stan says, "Everyone knows that, where the hell did you grow up, Russia?" I thought felt that there was an ease between the two sons that afforded Stan the remark about not having always been an F.B.I. agent, and the remark about the pizza being hot~kids are less scripted, so if they're going to watch a movie together, bravo for them, and life before "play-dates"!

Going to have to disagree with Meredith on the kindred spirit, or taking that too far. Pretty sure Philip _IMMEDIATELY_ disliked him, while Elizabeth was like, "Oh, a priest huh? That's cute." Also, Meredith? Game of Thrones coming on soon, so get in that panel! (especially if you read the first three books (and there ARE only 3 books)).

It's nice that Henry and Matthew interact this episode.

You didn't mention Elizabeth and the Mary Kay woman again, so obviously leading somewhere, where exactly has yet to show itself. Definitely interesting part, feels like Elizabeth genuinely has fun with this woman and has a lot in common with her.

Whaaat?! Pastor Tim is Dollar Bill Stearn?! They are basically opposites. That's one convincing actor!

Hi, when will you review S4E6 "The Rat"?

I'm guessing the twerking comment at 5:50 means Pastor Tim survives the rest of the season.

I think Matthew is gay and he's going to make a move on or come out to Henry. That's going to open a whole can of worms that's going to force Stan to actively be involved in his son's life.

No, Stan's son clearly sees that Stan and Henry have the father son relationship they never had. Things have been strained since the divorce and his Undercover work.
