One saying from Confucius live in my heart, " Do not impose to others what you yourself do not desire". I was bullied for my skin color, and it never felt good. My self esteem lowered. I had insecurities, even planned to change what I was born into. They changed my view of myself gradually as I face adolescence. I have read many testimonies how bullying affected the way they think and interact with others, that the perpetrators were once the victims. Upon reading them, I encountered words that served as my first stepping stone to acceptance and forgiveness, "...the cycle ends in me." these words hit me hard, it made me realize, that whatever happened to me would never be the fault of those I will meet in future. The cycle of pain, isolation, and lose of hope would end in me. I would never do to others what I never desired to experience in my life. (Jusain 1-11)
