Since these guys jobs, and by extension their lives, depend on making things seem legitimate, it makes no sense they act this way. Sometimes I really do think they know it's a scam baiter or else are bored and want something more fun to do than have someone just angrily hang up for the 5th time in a few weeks and make another note. They're still technically "working" but have no clue if they get paid by the call, by calls per week etc. If I was them, and suspected it was Kitboga or someone similar, I'd play it out like a Bollywood actor in hopes somebody would notice to get a start in acting to ditch scam job. It's also something they could brag about to their friends or show to girls, who knows. Have seen/heard so many of these mistakes they make that it's odd to believe they're all being serious. Most callers would have hung up before this point, and most scammers would give up too. Can't tell for sure but I think he's just playing around. He/we can tell when Kit smiles and laughs; you can hear that over the phone real easy too. They teach people in call centers to do it - smile - since it's hard to miss. If he really was acting, he deserves an oscar or better. Both him and Kitboga for the whole thing. I'll listen to the full call soon one day and try finding out for sure. This is the short version and not enough (for me) to make a good final judgment with.

Places I know you'd get fired after 2-3 warnings for that. It doesn't make any rational sense as mentioned in another part, their lives (food, safe place to sleep for yourself, spouse, gf, kids; basic things we all need) depend on making things seem legit. When they rap off Sir instead of Maam back n forth when its granny or girl talking, it makes me wonder if they know it's a scambaiter, like they can detect when Kit _cant_ help but laugh, and it sounds masculine for a sec perhaps. Or else what starts out as a simple, innocent, gullible grandma suddenly becomes a brilliant, incredibly sharp woman over a half hr or longer, they prob are pretty suspicious. It's why they always say: "How old you say you are?? I don't believe that" or else a sarcastic tone at times "Wow.. you don't sound like it.. you sound very young, you sure you're that old?" while laughing. How can they be that dumb if their life depends on it? It's prob like original poster said, it's just what they're taught to do or say. Very weird. I'm not kidding, saying sir to a maam or maam to a sir is a cardinal sin. People take serious offense to that one and might even hang up after it's done more than once on a call. Want to make any call rep mad? When saying goodbye call them the opposite of what they are. Like to someone named Sara: "That's all I needed today. Thanks for your help Sir." and then promptly hang up. If her voice is low or not, she'll think about it all that day, maybe the next week if she's heard it even 1 time before.
