Oh man, I was struggling to set it up as a switch button for my light using HomeKit and gave up. You basically saved me with this if statement! Thanks a lot. Definitely like

Very nice video. It's just the basics which a lot of times is what you are looking for without more and more fluff. You need to move your other devices out of the default room however. It was also very much appreciated. How do you set the device up in home care on an iPad rather than an iPhone. It makes it much easier to follow in the video.

Thank you for your feedback. I will try to do more videos using a larger screen like the iPad instead of an iPhone. 👍

hi i wonder if you can help me. I successfully added my mini switch via the M2 hub to the aqara app but i cannot find the mini switch apprering anywhere in my Apple Homekit app hence cannot use it to control my apple lights. Please help if you can. thank you. tim w.

Hi! If you have your M2 Hub already in HomeKit and the mini switch is in the aqara app working. Try searching it in the room where the M2 is located in HomeKit. Typically aqara syncs all their child devices like that. Mine is locate in the kitchen so all the sensor go there first. I hope this helps. Thanks for the comment!
