I really loved this video. I watched in the morning before work and found myself doing some of the things you mentioned (smiling at strangers, being more soft spoken) and it each time I would feel so warm inside. knowing that this warmth will continue to grow and begin to radiate off my person makes me so happy to continue my femininity journey and to watch more of your videos! thank you jasmyne

I adore, being a woman. Feminine charisma: 1. Warmth - people feel like I'm "too nice" when I show warmth, I don't want to be manipulative. I believe in sharing kindness. 2. Vulnerability & Openness - truth is authentic and organic love. People are always telling me, I'm too sensitive. Empathy cultivates, and holds space for warmth. I'm not afraid of being open. 3. Emotions - being an artist, healing through my emotions allows me to connect to my spirit and connection with God. I get shamed for being in touch, with my heart. I cry to music and movies, and I love being a woman with the ability to discern feedback 4. Neuroticism & Sensitivity - I love the efforts I put forth, when I care. I love how I feel, to share care with others. It allows me to strategize, fulfilling needs and wants to those near and dear to me. Which people try to drag as "people pleasing" just for wanting to accommodate the needs of others out of appreciation for their complexities and individuality. I'm just nurturing 5. Soft Spoken - when I am soft Spoken, I get accused of being passive aggressive, insecure, and weak. When I'm just respecting the environment of others, to not trigger anyone. Plus I've been taught by my grandmother," when two people are yelling during a conversation/argument. Speak quieter." 6. Insecurity & Self Awareness - when I try to walk in my confidence quietly, I'm always called being "stand offish" or "full of myself" but I just like to keep the peace quietly in the environment without overstepping others. My security is deeply cultivated in the joy, and love of Christ peace filled within me and I have nothing to worry about. And move forward, with beliefs and there will be challenges of others expecting the "impossible" over me. 7. Playfulness- I play too much sometimes lol. However, others look at me like a weirdo and judge me terribly for being light hearted and delighted in my momentary joygasms. Alot of times God and I get playful together. I love being playful, my parents and elders played with me growing up and gave me so much play space in nature. 8. Nurturance - is my attentiveness and my deep desire to serve and uplift the mood by being a big ol' hug and provide specific needs and not replacement of what I think is helpful. Only if I need to do that. 9. Cooperation, flexibility, and Flow- my mother has always taught me " be of stewardship, a cheerful giver, and not a stumbling block to others" I love being an effective team mate towards a healthy cause of sufficient and long lasting results. 10. Wholesome & Good sense of Humor- I make corny jokes all the time, that people don't always find funny. However, I can't promise you that I won't be crass. My father and grandfather and sometimes my own mother, make crassy and dark jokes with each other. ALL THE TIME 🤣🤣🤣 but I was taught "laughing at others is bullying" 11. Elegance - my grandmother and mother, have raised me in the ways of Christian Southern Belle mannerisms all my black ass life. We are also country, fighters, and hard workers so I have been taught "there is a time, and place" kind of mindset. Subtle make up to no make-up, and my grandfather taught me how to properly debate amongst men. And modern women often accuse me of trying to be "snobbish" or "judgemental" And being a well rounded woman, are my grandfathers trained gift to me.

I’d say so! It’s so much easier to be playful, silly, spontaneous and to just let all of your inhibitions and fear go if you feel secure in yourself. Being playful requires a certain amount of comfortability in yourself and others - comfortable enough to be a little off-beat and engage in things that aren’t necessarily “normal” like playing hide & seek in department stores and randomly biting your loved one’s arm 🤪 you need to be secure & comfortable in yourself in order to just let go and spontaneously create fun times

Jasmyne, I cannot tell you how much I needed your video this morning. 🌻 Although I've been leaning into/practicing feminity a lot more this year, I had a very bad weekend and came into work this morning thoroughly stewed in an inner cauldron of resentment, bitterness, and aggression. In other words, totally out of my healthy feminine energy. Your calm, healing energy, the soothing background music, and specifically the segment about feeling our emotions did a lot to help restore me to myself...and probably saved a couple of my coworkers' lives on this fine Monday morning! 😅 Add: Also 1000% YES PLEASE to a video about how to be less uptight!! 🥺

I used to be feminine when I was in middle school, and I was picked on for being weak. So, in high school I gained a rough exterior. I was very mean and closed off, so I wouldn't be weak. When my dad passed, I took on his job of the protector, because it was just my Mom, my older sister, younger sister, and I. Now, I'm trying to become my feminine self again, because now I can't show emotion. It's very hard, but I find myself doing it to certain people. I'm a work in progress😊

My agreeableness comes out 1 or 2% on personality tests EVERY TIME!! How can you be more agreeable when its not in your nature 😭😭😭
@chihirohel90902 жыл бұрын
Maybe try to put yourself in other people's shoes and develop your empathy. Imagine if you were the other person and you meet a person who is cold or mean towards you, and makes you feel less than, or not worth it, you wouldn't want that, right? Thus, try to treat others the way you would ideally like to be treated, and most if not all people want to feel loved and be treated with respect and love (or at least just respect and warmth), so perhaps by keeping this idea in mind, you can become more agreeable. Sending you positive vibes and prayers !! Good luck.

I realized that I have quite a number of these qualities myself. I used to be quite competitive and generally unyielding but since I started to work on my femininity, I've been more open and generally more agreeable. But you're right. It's not an innately virtuous trait and there are times that people would want to take advantage of this.

It's good to know when to put your foot down. I've had people call me rude because I was agreeable and easy-going at first then I set and enforced boundaries but they were expecting me to just do as they want.
