Artie has type 2 diabetes which is a serious disease. If there ever was a time when Artie needs to change his ways it's now. I'm rooting for the big guy he's in for a hell of a battle especially when you add his substance abuse problem and his love of unhealthy food. If his eating is out of control he could go into a diabetic coma eventually.
@Danimal300zx11 жыл бұрын
Along with his 100 pound weight gain and then listen to how it changed form 2006 to 2009 and then from 2010 to now. He's not only a shell of his former self, but he literally doesn't care about his body, or his health AT ALL. He's a serious drug addict and to all those who claim that he is clean, you clearly did not watch him for 9 years on Howard Stern. He has been nodding off at least twice this year on his radio show. He lies about being clean, but his credibility. health and mind is shot.

Why judge him for that tho? Clearly he still managed to create a hilarious show despite this life crushing addiction. And despite his lies he just wanted to maintain a semblance of his career going and I’m just glad he’s not dead and he’s actually seemingly better hopefully now. Artie seems to be a good guy I’ll root for him he seems like a very genuinely generous guy with so many demons

The man is NOT clean. Look and listen to him. His speech has gotten so bad in the last few years. Nevermind that he seems to have aged about 40 years since 2005, 30 of those 40 have been since 2010. The man can't talk without stuttering and stammering and trying to get a thought out. The same thing happened to Phil Anselmo from Pantera and Scott Weiland from STP. Both those guys used to speak normally and so did Artie. Listen to how his voice changed from 2005 to 2006

@AreolaGrande9410 жыл бұрын
you are listening to 7 minutes of his show..... he spend a decade on the stern show where he was probably the most gifted one-line comedian in the US. also a great story teller and roaster. but he made the stern show, which is the greatest (or... was) radio show of all time.
@candrimusic9 жыл бұрын
EdudLufetips dude amen. In my opinion Artie is the funniest comedian on the planet. Those stern days were prime. And even know after all the drugs and problems he's suffered through he is still on top of his game. I met him a few years back in Jersey and he was super down to earth. Always great hearing ppl who appreciate his style of comedy. Because its hard to believe there are people who don't get it. I guess they don't like the old fashioned comedy with the brutal aspect.
@AreolaGrande949 жыл бұрын
CANDRi I love Artie; makes me laugh like crazy. I'm so glad I recorded and saved old tapes- the show today absolutely blows. Howard just talks about celebrity friends that he used to rag on, cats, AGT and how much he hates it despite the fact that he gets paid tons of money for like 2 months of work (if you wanna call watching entertainment work), and stupid bits. Artie was great on the show. As far as stand-up goes, I don't think he was great. Some good bits, but not the best. But improvising liens and quips on the fly-- no one did it better.
