Thank you so much for sharing this video. It was a lot of personal information that I totally related too. I had a light read of that book years ago, but I don't remember how much I really worked through. I will have to have a look again. I think it is important to look at your creative past. It help explain where that nasty little voice in your head gets it's words. Then by thinking about it you can add in the nice words to balance it out. I have to say that I am so relieved you didn't say that you woke up and hour early, made a nice coffee and relaxed with your morning pages before anyone else was up. lol, that is just not happening. Also I loved your collage.

So nice to hear you enjoyed it and it was relatable. I was a bit hesitant to put so much personal stuff out there 😅 I'm looking forward to the next few weeks of this! I've just read week two and it's more about the people around you which is interesting! Yes. I'm definitely not a morning bird! I have to drag myself out of bed in the morning as it is. Getting up early was never going to happen, especially not to do morning pages 😆! I really appreciate your comment 🥰

Thank you so much for this video and for sharing your history with therapy, mental struggles and atheism. I am also so sorry you had to endure so much in your early life, and i'm sending all my support and wishes of happiness and well being ❤. When i first read this book, i really had the same impressions than you about morning pages and the spiritual aspects of the book, so i never made it to the first week, but you make me want to try to follow along your videos ^^ and the art you did for the artist date is really cool! I love how you played with all these textures ❤

Thanks so much for the lovely comment! I think the god aspect puts alot of people off so honestly I just skip over those parts. I think this book has alot to offer but some people would benifit by adapting it a bit to better suit them! If you do choose to do it and follow along do let me know how you get on! 🩵 Thanks 😊 I really enjoyed the collage and just having a play without worrying about the end result! It's nice to just splash paint down on a page sometimes!

@@louisecreatesarti'll totally adapt it, i think! When i first read it, i was just out of a cult and in therapy for it, but it's been several years now, so I think i'll be able to just skip over this without being bothered 😅 (as a French person, the ability of some American authors to squeeze god everywhere looks like a kind of magic 😂) Will do! I'll take a few days to reread it and start next week the exercises, i think!

Yes. She was...a charecter for sure. Got out of that friendship group by the end of the year though thankfully. Ah okay! Pants. I always get confused with that 😅 Don't that choking incident scarred me! I was doing baby led weaning as well so it really made me swap to mushy and purred stuff for a while. I do love a boot fayre. Most of the time it's all tut but sometimes you do get a few gems! Oh really! I'll definitely watch that. I've watched all your pre/during/post bologna videos! Amazing you found the time to go there. I'm so bad with commenting but I do watch them all 🥰

@louisecreatesart aww thanks Louise, glad to hear you enjoy them. But no pressure at all to watch/comment. It's super chilled. Have you had a chance to finish draw a box? What's next for you too?

@SpottedJournal I'm almost done with lesson 5. The animals one. Finding it really tough actually! Especially sticking to that specific style of drawing. Trying to remind myself it's a learning exercise. Lesson 5 is alot more pages than the other lessons. I'll get through it though 😊
