"AI-level knowledge" would mean that he's prone to making things up randomly, and actually not reliable. AI is NOT AT ALL reliable to source information from. I WISH people would stop acting like it is, because it makes things up so often, and when you rely on AI to try and get information, you risk misinforming yourself so badly and severely, but since you trust that the AI can only give you good info, you're less likely to do any research yourself to correct or combat thr misinformation you might be spreading to others.

Never underestimate a narcissists burning lust to manufacture oppression and outrage for themselves when faced with even the most reasonable or minor criticism, or even disagreement... Like maybe they shouldn't hate/generalize an entire group group of fellow humans by the colour of their skin/sex/gender, their support of anything other than "christian"/traditional/conservative values or even the necessity for basic logical reasoning. The paradox of tolerance: if a society's practice of tolerance is inclusive of the intolerant, intolerance will ultimately dominate, eliminating the tolerant and the practice of tolerance with them.

1:29:48 Mike please learn how hymen works. (and then learn that it should be broken long before so that the woman you fall in love with knows how to do it). The want of a virgin is barbaric. Why do men want someone without any skill? Without knowledge?? Without experience? Without the experience to know what they even like? Why, would anyone want that as a surprise on their wedding night, and to be stuck with that for the rest of their lives? Why? It is the stupidest of choices, and one which only comes from men who know absolutely nothing about sex or love or women or themself. To fantasize about having 72 of them? What kind of childish fantasy is that? "Be careful what you wish for" is the moral of the Arabian Nights isn't it? isn't being careful what you wish for the end of every genie story while they fly around on carpets and dance around like children? Do we learn nothing from our forefathers? Gr8! Peace ☮💜Love
@rhondah1587Сағат бұрын
Men have put value on a woman's virginity so that they will 1) never meet a man who has slept with his wife, and 2) that any child born from her will be his without a doubt. Of course, both of those reasons are silly and ridiculous for any man who really loves his wife, but love didn't come into the bargain in ancient times, it was simply a transaction of buying a wife. It was then he only valued that possession if it was unused before he got it.

You guys are the true heavyweights when it comes to, I guess you together is an excellent combonation of science and Biblical scholarship. As far as science go's, we've all heard theists snicker mockingly at the idea that science is always changing, as if it were some confused teenager who cant make their mind up. The sad part about thinking like that is they will never understand the beauty of revolutionary new discoveries that change life as we know it. Yes, they render our old ideas of the universe obsolete and dated. Thats a good thing. But in their eyes, its something to fear and scorn. There dogma isnt even aloud to be questioned. Even as we marvel at the beautiful view of the cosmos from our new telescopes that science gave us, they look at those constelations panicking and butthurt, scrambling to find a gap to smuggle their bronze age sky wizard into. Scientific discoveries leave less and less places for their God to hide and they HATE THAT. Now their God has been relegated all the way back to the beginning of time. And now one of the few arguements they have left is, but you dont know what caused the big bang, therefor it must have been their specific God. They miss out all the beauty and adventure of discovery and advancement, this entire life flies right past them as they contort themselves to fit their lives and belief syatem to a bronze age dogma. And that is really sad.

52:20 Cells respond to light? Molectules/chemistry responds to light... All sorts of chemicals "respond" to light. AgI, AgBr & AgCl are Silver Halides that we use in film to produce photographs, and these change their physical structure when light bounces off of them. There are many examples in nature of light affecting chemistry used inside cells, and protein bonds and virus and etc.. Even plants are photo sensitive, producing energy, and directing the plant to "face" a certain direction, and "know" when to go to seed etc. It does not require a neural pathway in nature at all as was asked here. If you think of all these possibilities that existed before actual moving animals came to be.. there were many ways for light sensitivity to be present in an animal as it changes throughout time. Single celled animals "react" to all sorts of stimuli which gives them advantage and disadvantage for promulgation. We as humans are just a large sum of individual cells that constantly reproduce and advance to work together as a sentient organism. This is how life began on the earth. Sight, sound, touch, chemical smell and sense of all these things in tandem make up our reality, and so it does in less amounts in other animals and subgroups. Chemistry "reacting" isn't a sentient thing, but it is the constant evolution in our universe. There is chemistry and physics that happen outside our little earth that make our earth possible, by atoms attracting other atoms due to gravity and then due to electrical and magnetic forces. Chemical forces come into play way later in the evolution of the beginning of our universe, as basic hydrogen forming, and combining with itself produced all the other elements on the periodic table through fusion and fission. The simple question posited by the caller here, can trace us back to the beginning of time with relative details that precede the answers. I hope this little discertation may peak the interest of a person ono the edge of "belief" in the supernatural, or wondering how science and thinking/learning of our physical surrounding can answer most of lives questions. It can invent the future also, just as many of the concepts I've described here have simply allowed humans to cook mud in different ways so you can view this on what you call a smart phone. Gr8! Peace ☮💜Love

Forrest: "I want a high quality fun conversation." Good luck with that. There is a group of trolls out there that have dedicated countless hours of their life to call your show and say stupid things to waste as much time and money as they can, and to deny access from as many real callers as possible. Not just AXP. All the call in shows. Even Forrest said "I've gotten like 30 calls from this troll on a bunch of different shows." At this point, you're lucky if half your callers are legit, and some shows I'm not sure if anybody is legit, or maybe just 1 or 2. If I were to put my conspiracy hat on, I'd say there are too many trolls dedicating too many hours to be doing it out of the stupidity of their own heart. They would get bored and quit. Conspiracy logic says somebody is paying them, even if it's only $10 per call. Maybe Hovind. Maybe Daily Wire. Or Prager U. Or really any other organization that hates this show and its hosts, and has pockets deep enough to front the money.

This was the greatest AXP episode. Two of the best debaters of our time on the same show together, manage to get a guy to run his God into the evil corner. Christians, you just can't defeat logic and what your book says. It's a horriblly written, self-defeating story that has a vengeful, angry, evil god who sets rules and then ignores them himself like a hypocrite, made people knowing they would sin and then punishes them for HIS mistake of creating the thing that sins, so this god is also a massive i-di-ot.

To Mike: I know every possible combination of lottery numbers. They're on the ticket. That does not mean I know which combination it WILL be. So there's something about the winning numbers I don't know. If a god knows every possible action, but not which action WILL occur, then there is something about actions it doesn't know, so it is not omniscient. In the same vein, it is also not omnipotent if it is constrained by the flow of time.

21:22 Jesus Lies... Justin reads the prophecy, then reads about Jesus telling lies about himself "fulfilling this prophecy". Jesus outright lied. No question, he lied. Jesus either couldn't read, and was simply told a verbal summarised version of the text, or he knew what it actually said and the others listening didn't. Either way, he's either stupid and is repeating rumors, or he outright lied. Personally from some of the other "sayith Jesus", being paradoxical and kind of clever in the book, I would attest he lied outright. Jesus was a con man. Jesus was pulling a fast one on all those who would follow him. He played cheap tricks, he lied constantly, and he was a cheat and a steal. Jesus lies here plain and simple. Gr8! Peace ☮💜Love

Mike, Imagine you meet a woman. Or man. Or potential life partner. Whatever you like. You go on on date and right after the date begins, this person says "You should love me. If you do, I will take perfect care of you always. But if you don't, my friend will torture you until the end of your days." Assume you totally believe this person. How does that make you feel? Probably fear. Nobody wants to be tortured. But do you REALLY love this person you only just met and don't really know? Do you think this person threatening your entire life with endless torture makes them more loveable? Could you ever really love some person who will cause you to suffer endless torture if you ever transgress against anything they say or do? Is that what "love" means to you? You said we need Satan and the threat of eternal damnation so god would know we love him. But all it proves is that we fear his evil monstrous sadistic torturer so much that we say we love him out of sheer terror. Hey, maybe if we fear God enough, and claim to love god a few thousand times, maybe we will start to believe it ourselves. But if you ever think about what a horrific monstrous thing this is, not just the Satan part, but also the part where God makes the threat to cast you into Satan's torture room for eternity, if you ever really step out of your Christian box and think about this for even a few minutes, you would have to admit the whole thing is monstrous. And you would have to admit that THIS is not how love works. Fear of eternal torture does not equal love. It just equals fear.

It’s a crazy world when you can say the atheist is doing gods work even though there’s no reason to believe that god exists. Forrest is a better Christian than most that claim to believe.
